People treat religion like its a buffet dinner applying and following the rules that don't inconvenience them or take away things they enjoy. Can't eat pork, rabbit, lobster,crab, or any shellfish but thats some tasty shit so fuck we can work around that one. You're not supposed to wear gold, pull out during sex,have tattoos or have braided hair as a woman, and a thousand more people have forgotten about. How many religious people you think follow just those few examples. Mass shootings are the result of people having a bad reaction to SSRI drugs. This is covered up by the drug industry. The same reasons the military has seen a sharp rise in suicides even with service members who were never in combat. Research SSRI drugs and school shootings that began as soon as theses drugs were introduced and practically all mass shooters and murder suicides are committed by persons coming off theses drugs.

However your fearful diatribe of a made up draconian gun law and your fear of needing to use one in defense are both ridiculous results of irrational fear.

Not an irrational fear because I had to kill someone doing a home invasion on my grow house in 2004. Look up " Tyrone Bell Houston Chronicle" and I'm the homeowner in the press release. An old 12 gauge saved my life and killing that piece of shit gang member probably saved other lives, and tax money. By the way, it was 4 men against me, and I'm still here.

So, fine. I'm glad you were able to defend yourself with your legally owned weapon. I'm just saying that the odds of this happening is so small that this cannot be used to justify arming the entire populace, given the much higher risk of accidental or criminal homicide. I'm not an advocate of draconian gun laws. That said, keeping valuables in your home and having it widely known puts your family at risk in ways that might be thought through. Be safe and be smart. Right now, apparently, you are neither.

The libs are right about one thing, we need some new gun control laws. We should start by allowing CCW citizens to carry anywhere their two feet can take them. They should also be forced to spend a day in the sewers, mucking shit, for every instance they incorrectly call a semiautomatic rifle an assault rifle/weapon or like in this case, misidentify a Sig Sauer MCX Carbine as an AR-15. Even though it "has no major parts that interface with AR-15s in any way, shape or form".
