I guess having too much here its hard to see the benefit. Its heavy and no air to roots because so damn dense. Probably some nice minerals in there thoughSome is good, retains water

Rid actually uses cat litter as one of his additions to his medium, calcinated clay I think is the term for it, I can go look if you wantClay is good? I always try to get rid of that because it impairs drainage
Thats just weird, I guess like tidy cat the unscented crapIf you search all forums for CAT LITTER by member RM3 you can see where he talks about it, theres only 7 listings I think
Weird maybe, works like a mofo, yes....Yeah definitely unscented, it has to be washed the first time before use. He specifies exactly what type to use.Thats just weird, I guess like tidy cat the unscented crap
After reading that I am wondering if you feed with fertilizer or supposed to be enough with that to add water only?I do a 50/50 mix
the medium I use is based on Al Tapla's Gritty Mix (google it )

I read about it on one of your threads. But since I have to pack it in, I only use 1/8th in my mix. If it ever gets to where I can grow it in the garden, I'll add more.I do a 50/50 mix

You're welcome to read my journal (sig link) I DO NOT follow ANY kind of schedule or any set amount. I feed based on what I see and what they needHow do you do your feeding?

My first round was all natural light, so they started to flower when they were really small. I'm hoping to get my Spring crop a little bigger before we have to put them out. I may have to start earlier next year. If I do alright with them, I'm not growing full season's anymore. The longer they are out, the more that can go wrong. I'll pop beans in June and July.My seed testers looked a bit beat up when i got home from the BBQ,root bound & nitrogen deficient.I transplanted them out of the solo cups into one gallon pots, hopefully they will come around and i can see if any are worth growing out next season.
I have put out clones in the past and ended up with one ounce plants good smoke just not much of it. About 30% of the strains i put out in january flowered out ok and gave me a bit of early smoke.I'm going to hide a few plants in an old chicken coup,my room mate wants to grow out a few seeds TMB gave us full season.I'm going to pop a few fem seeds in may for the greenhouse hoping to keep them a bit more manageable. My first round was all natural light, so they started to flower when they were really small. Of the strains that didn't do well in the Winter, what kind of problems did they have? This is my 1st go round, so I don't know what I don't know.I have put out clones in the past and ended up with one ounce plants good smoke just not much of it.
