Thanks a lot Tay,
much appreciated man.. I'm pretty damned content with the way my little TH is growing up. I hate thursdays though, I only get to really take a good look at her in the mornings, as when i get home from work the lights are already out. Yes, the green bulb allows me to see her and "play" (otherwise known as staring) or watering or whatever. It doesn't let me look at the pistils well.. but whatever, tomorrow morning isn't that far away. . . . . . . . . . .

Those are some awsome looking bud shots. My plant is so far behind yours. The lower branches only have a couple hairs so far. THe top is looking nice though. I can't stop going in there and looking at her, making sure she hasnt moved or something lol

hey FarmingToronto, this is an answer to a question you asked in BigD's thread about cloning. if you use superthrive for you clones then i recommend using it half strength bcuz your already using the powder and they both contain some of the same ingredients like vit.B1, too much of anything is bad when it comes to growing. i'm pretty sure you dont exactly follow the recommended dosage on the bottle of your regular nutes right?though i've used super thrive, when i first started growing i would add one drop to every gallon of water but i never got another bottle of it after i ran out bcuz i started using different nutes that basically do the same thing. ne ways for your clones, basically all u need is some kind of medium like rapid rooters or rockwool cubes, i've even seen it done in soil but i've personally only have tried rockwool and rapid rooters, but i'm sure its almost the same thing so your jiffy pellets should do the trick. plus if possible try to ph your water to 5.5 it reduces the chances of any mold or fungus growth, and you can distill your own water if you want? just fill up a bucket of water and let it sit ne where in the house for three days and you should be good the longer the water sits the more it distills, also i keep my cloning chamber like 7-8 feet away from my 600hps and when use CFLS i still keep them pretty far from the blubs almost about three feet away and it still works fine.and try to always cut double the number of clones desired if possible, so u can pick out of the fastest growing ones, thats what i do ne ways good luck!

Thanks Dr.. Your not that far behind me at all man.. but I am actually quite interested in our nute regiment end comparison. I know there are many other factors involved but it'll still be interesting for that aspect of it.

I attempted to clone the other day and despite knowing exactly what you said at the end that the more I take the better my chances, I didn't wanna hurt my TH too much as shes not the biggest plant.. So I ended up taking 1.. its been about 3 days and so far, still not dead.. so thats a positive.. I ended up using both the powder and ST as I didn't get you post till a few days after.. I also ended up going directly to soil.. The only reason I wasn't happy with soil, is I can't check on roots.. but hey if its not dead.. something's goin right.. for now atleast !!

Good morning everyone ! Well, that is whoever is still trucking along with me here !! Thank you I appreciate it
Seeing reply's and responses is what keeps me wanting to continue posting.. oh, and to have a record of everything.. but I have a side one on paper.. none the less, Thank you all who have been with me for a while and those who are new and haven't found this yet.. Thank you too
So, TH is starting to grow, grow, grow.. and I mean vertically.. The odd thing, atleast in my head... is that there is already the top cola forming.. so it seems like the growth is coming between the nodes. I find that rather fascinating and interesting that shes still growing up but in a new way, not the same as it looked during veg. Today I used a measuring tape to do my photo instead of the now retired chop stick and original sharpie..It feels like its been a very long time this plants been growing, but I added it up on my calendar and well, it's really not that long a time.. lol... For my next grow, the one MAIN thing I'd change.. well not change but "tweak" would be a longer veg time. Thats all, I'm very happy with all other conditions of my grow .. but inorder to yeild more next time (not that I know my yeild now) but its safe to assume a taller (or LST,Topped,etc..) plant will have more oppertunity for bud growth. My TH is now a total of 36 days old..more than 1/2 of those (19) have been in flowering (12/12). I'm quite happy with the size of her at 36 days (1 foot) However, as I said.. next time.. I'll go a bit bigger.. I was concerned with the vertical growth in flowering so I didn't want to outgrow my area.. it seems my concerns are well warrented with the vertical growth during flower, but I doubt I'll be filling my total height. Yesterday was watering day, I changed up my nutes a bit and so far it seems to be working out well, very well. Over the last 3 waterings I've been giving TH her normal 20-20-20 with Superthrive but a bit less volume and then I'd follow up with my General Hydroponics Grow B ( 1-5-8 ) to sorta let the soil get in what it needs...Anyway yesterday I switched it up a bit and used far more of the GH Grow B and a LOT less of the 20-20-20. As I said TH has responded very well putting on more height and a bit of size on the top buds, All over night...Anyway thats really all I have to "report" on whats going on here.. time for PICTURES !!!!! lol

Right??? I find it all fun, and interesting. And i f'n love the smell!!! I could just put a few plants around the house and use that smell as an air freshener!!!! Who needs febreeze and candles when you could go natural...lol

As allways, big compliments to you matey....TH is looking superb! Keep bringing us the updates as each step i get to i have a constant picture reference to use! Im nearly a week into 12/12 now......keep staring at them looking for some sign of sex!!!

congrats on the HK germs.. I'm sure you'll love that plant big time.. lol.. yeah 12/12 is such a frustratingly fun first 2 weeks.. and even then after sexing its awesome to get to see new growth on a almost hourly but definitely daily basis. Its great !!!

I know eh, how random is that... I went to buddies to get and low and behold he has "purple haze". However unless I see the seed packages I have a hard time believing. Specially after all the reading and research I've done in the past. I mean there are products out there to help purple up plants.. Some sad folks will go as far as using food colouring and other crude methods to "attempt" to put forth a better "product" That's a bit thing that saddens me and a large reason why I've started my own. I know exactly whats gone in from day 1 till harvest..But hey that's just my opinion
besides in the end.. the bud wasn't really that good at all.. just looked purple ! Woo...Hoo....

9/20 Update
Good Saturday morning everyone !! Well, today is unfortunately going to be a rather boring update for 2 reasons. First, the batteries in my camera died on me, so I was only able to snap about 5 pics this morning. Secondly, well I didn't really notice much change in TH overnight last night. Her height is relatively the same only a few cm bigger. The hairs and buds however are starting to fill out a TINY bit. Unfortunately not knowing the true strain or genetics of this plant is going to make flowering more of a guessing game than exact science and that bothers me to a degree. I'm aiming for 50 - 60 days of flowering (That's after I confirmed sex) but who knows if she'll be done by then. I still have quite a ways to go as I don't have many if any frosty crystals starting to form just yet. So yeah, I got time ! Anyway the one change I did make today is raising the lights yet again. I took a pic to show the height and distance from the plant for those of you following that aspect (Mount4in ) That's really about all I have to say this morning.. Its picture time !!

Looking incredible as usual buddy. I wished my buds looked as nice as those. Im sure it will look relatively close to that soon.

no problem brother. i think u might be fine with the soil but you'll know when it has grown its new little roots by the new green growth on the top. if not just try to find some small branches on the plant a couple days b4 haverst. chances are there will be new smaller branches with tiny lil buds growing out of the original colas. well good luck and try to be easy with the ST untill u see the new green growth start to take off.. peace
