Do we need more information on seed packs?

When I buy a pack of something...I want to know that the majority of the plants will turn out like the breeder envisioned or says thats what they will be. Not some hermie fest hay tasting hemp garbage. Iam picky. And for what they charge...i deserve tk be. Used to not be like that. Not with the old timey Dutch breeders back in the day. The reason why most people like variation is because they have been trained to. They dont know any better. Ask the handful of real breeders like Chimera...Simon...Shatibaba..Tom Hill...or that Garcia dude from ACE Seeds. They will tell you that it takes hundreds and more likely thousands of plants and at least 2 amd a half to 4 years of working them and selection process to come up with a true cultivar. Just one. Most so called breeders do not have the time..money..legality..or space to do it right. But they want to cash in and power trip on thinking they can breed. Fact of the matter is...most cant. Be leary of anyone that comes up with a catalog of strains in a short order of time amd doing the whole "official tester" hustle...giving seeds out to everyone for "test reports". Folks...this is not cannabis breeding. Hence why you have so much controversy...herm and garbage plant reports out there these days. There are not many (I mean really well known good breeders are rare as hens teeth) that can do or are willing to...do it right.

lol you're a breeder groupie. Alien haven't been around in years and just popped back up on the scene to money grab. Topdawg is on a downward spiral dropping chucks after chucks. Exotic and Archive is doing the same. MeanGene haven't even put his gear out yet to the masses just his people. And we can see bodhi work all over the net and IG.

FACTS are you have no clue or idea why alien came back. The fact is he never left, but you know Shit All. Yeah Man you have no top dog. All you ever do is complain about ever breeders Pack you have no personal experience with.

You have never purchased a pack of any of those breeders you speak on.

All of the above mentioned are not truly breeding cannabis. Yes..even the beloved Bodhi. And I got 2 of his strains downstairs right now. These people started with great plants and worked them just enough. Not even the tip of the iceberg really. And thats a fact!!!!

And to be truthfully honest...the last 8 to 10 years or so...my most consistent offerings to my patients have been from sourcing clones and running the hell outta them. I have not kept a bought seed pack plant for more than 6 months to a year in a very long time. And ive been growing dope since 1991. That should say something about the state of the seedy business of selling seeds.

Truthfully man I grew the original AK 47 gorilla style in 1998-2000 I think.
But the seeds were from the first days.
I'd just leave the males an let em go, that seedy bud would blow your mind! I have a bunch of f4 and f5 but I can't get it to germ. Bad storage probably a loss

yes yes yes, omfg, yes, don't stop, oops, got carried away a bit, but i completely agree. i just don't get ig.. i've tried, numerous times, and i just can't seem to navigate around, and often times find myself completely confused as to where i am or how i ever got there.. i keep trying to go back to it, but have pretty much the same feeling for it as you do..

I grew the hell outta AK and Kali Mist back in the 90's. My god was it some fire. Simon and the Serious Seeds crew had only 4 or 5 true cultivars back then. But holy shheeitt was it good. I remember the Cherry pheno hunt on the Overgrow.com threads back then. Simon said the real cherry phenotype in AK was about one in one hundred seeds. Never did get that one. And havent heard much from Serious Seeds in a very long time.

That's all them nor cal dudes that grow monsters outside. Those guys know whats up as well. AF seeds are pricey no doubt. I would never spend that on seeds...but I would buy a flat of Afficionado cuts in a hot minute if I lived up there.
