My apologies... I assumed you were competant enough to plug in 2 wires to a cob - but knock yourself out. Pay$150+ for assembly a monkey could do, i dont care - its your $. But youre wrong. Rapidled DOES sell lights that are all but put together. If plugging in a few wires is rocket science for you, though, I'll assemble it for only $75
Oh my bad, please show a link to their 600w Vero 29 build.
And by the way, it's not just plugging in a couple wires and it has nothing to do with whether it's rocket science to some or not. The fact is, lots of people don't want to do the electrical work. RapidLed does not pre-wire the light. You connect the drivers and run your wire to cobs that you've mounted onto the pin heatsinks. Then you need to build a frame and mount everything to it.
Anyway, spare everyone the bs. RapidLed is a great company but they don't 'blow the doors off' or 'murder' anybodys prices, especially Timbers. The people who buy Timbers pre-built lights are the type that just don't have time in their life for more projects, maybe you can't relate but they are out there.
I'm all for recommending vendors but exaggerating to the point of saying someone murders or blows the doors off another vendors prices when in fact they don't...is kinda silly and misleading.
I've bought plenty of stuff from Robin@HLG and also from RapidLed and recommend them both. Timber offers great support, pricing and options and there have literally been hundreds of people in RIU that have bought from him and been more than happy. Exaggerating price differences to the point of being outright wrong is not doing anyone a service.
