Why do you believe the efficacy of policy of a potential Sanders 2020 run depends on who he might run against?
I'm simply asking you if you think any of the policies Sanders supports benefit African Americans. I'm not sure why you believe answering that question depends on who Sanders could potentially face, if he chooses to run in 2020... Maybe you could explain that, too?
Sorry, I couldn't help myself.
You mention all of these issues that are important to you. And to me too.
I'm not African American, also, I voted for Sanders. Who am I to tell you what African Americans want from a politician? What I read was that Sanders has given the impression that he's willing to vote for bills that address the needs of African Americans but doesn't lead on any of them.
Why did those women have to crash his rally to get Black Lives Matter into the discussion on his campaign?
Read what was said by African Americans about Bernie's campaign.
They didn't say they were turned off by any of the proposals you mention. They didn't see them as a solution either. They talked about what was lacking.
Read up yourself. There was a lot of analysis given by African Americans and women who all said they didn't see Bernie as giving their issues any attention.
What I gathered from what I read was that the things you list are good but not sufficient. Because Black Lives Matter issues aren't economic ones. Because not getting that interview because their name sounded difference isn't due to an economic issue. Because getting groped by the boss isn't due to an economic issue. Do you see where I'm going?
I know you don't like to hear this but the best analogy I can come up with is that Bernie is a cold fish. He doesn't relate well with other people. He did well with other white males who related with HIM but he doesn't relate well with others. That was about it. I'm a moron when it comes to social situations and not good at answering your question because I'm like Sanders in that regard. There are some issues that aren't answered by cold logic.
