What do you suppose Cloobeck is referring to here;those words you typed were not said by him or alluded to
Back in April, Steve said:Why is he threatening to "quit the party" if they go "too far to the left"?
You think Cloobeck is threatening to leave the Democratic party "if they go too far to the left" because he sounds like the guy from Undercover Boss and just likes saying stupid shit and being on TV"?Sounds like the guy from Undercover Boss, just likes saying stupid shit and being on TV, and isn't actually going anywhere.
because it's something republicans are known for being.What do you suppose Cloobeck is referring to here;
Cloobeck - "I've talked to [Chuck] Schumer, I've talked to [Ron] Wyden, I've talked to [Nancy] Pelosi, and I said "If you use the term "Billionaires again, I'm done."
...
Ruhle - "Then are you worried that the Democratic party is going too far to the left?"
Cloobeck - "So much so it drives me nuts! So much so, it would make me quit the party! And, I've made it very clear, I'll cut your money off! And others will do the same. We've had enough! We need a new brand!"
Why is he upset that Democrats use the term "Billionaires"?
Why is he threatening to "quit the party" if they go "too far to the left"?
It's his right to leave the party just as it is yours if you don't agree with its policies. From elections results any rational person would be unconvinced that most of the country is thirsting for your liberal policies, so maybe he's giving good advice. You think Cloobeck is threatening to leave the Democratic party "if they go too far to the left" because he sounds like the guy from Undercover Boss and just likes saying stupid shit and being on TV"?

about what?Do you agree with Cloobecks advice?
About his opinion about Democratic party leaders saying the word "billionaires"?about what?
I think he was more complaining about Democratic leaders trashing bilkionaires than objecting to the word itself. Knowing you, you would do the same if you were in a similar situation.About his opinion about Democratic party leaders saying the word "billionaires"?
Democratic leaders trashing billionaires for what?Democratic leaders trashing bilkionaires
I have no real interest here. You asked if I agreed with what he said. I'm still trying to figure out what he said. It wasn't as you said, that he was angry about Dem leaders using the word billiionaire, it was the negative context behind it. Don't you agree?Democratic leaders trashing billionaires for what?
Cloobeck said he (and other Democratic party donors) will cut off their funding if they don't stop talking about billionaires.I have no real interest here. You asked if I agreed with what he said. Ruhle - "When Democrats continue to say "Down with the billionaires, we can't stand the rich!" A lot of people want to be rich. So is it the right message that the Democrats are going with?"
Cloobeck - "It's so "F-ing wrong"
Ruhle - "Whoa!"
Cloobeck - "I've talked to [Chuck] Schumer, I've talked to [Ron] Wyden, I've talked to [Nancy] Pelosi, and I said "If you use the term "Billionaires again, I'm done."
Ruhle - "Why?"
Cloobeck - "Because.. it's aspirational. (Huh?) I didn't start with anything. Just, penalize everyone that's done well? We all wanna do well. And we should be the party of "doing well". We should be a party of business and leadership. And it is very, very disturbing when I hear the "millionaire" or "billionaire" word, and I've told them to "STOP IT!", "KNOCK IT OFF!". Because, everyone wants to do really well and this is the world of the, uhh, aspirations.. " (What?)
Ruhle - "Then are you worried that the Democratic party is going too far to the left?"

I don't think he's objecting to them talking about billionaires, I think he's objecting to being criticized for being a billionaire. Not for what he does, but for what he is. Steve Jobs was a billionaire was Steve Jobs a bad person because he was a billionaire?Cloobeck said he (and other Democratic party donors) will cut off their funding if they don't stop talking about billionaires.
No, Steve Jobs was a bad person because he was an asshole.I don't think he's objecting to them talking about billionaires, I think he's objecting to being criticized for being a billionaire. Not for what he does, but for what he is. Steve Jobs was a billionaire was Steve Jobs a bad person because he was a billionaire?
I don't know the object of your ire. Is he a bad man? Or is he bad just because he cut some large checks to fund some politician's campaigns? You do know that Republicans have access to people of enormous wealth and they are funding PACs, Super Pacs, and political campaigns, don't you?
I don't think legally contributing to Democrats is necessarily a bad thing in today's political situation. Ron Wyden, by the way, is a pretty good progressive Senator.
