Actually I did. Keep your fingers in your ears and keep saying no, no, no while stomping your feet.no you didn't
no it doesn'tAs much as you want it to ar means armalite rifle.
Nothing clears a passageway like a shotgun.I know. I carried 12 gauge Mossberg with my 9 mm every day in the navy. But I doubt more then 10% of our military carry shotguns. At least in my experience, rifle was weapon of choice for most branches.
He doesn't listen to facts.Actually I did. Keep your fingers in your ears and keep saying no, no, no while stomping your feet.
You can't dispute that Armalight developed the ar15 after various other ar models that were not assault weapons. They still manufacture multiple guns that say ar but are not assault weapons.
Just read.

The armalite website history states the same thing.
History channel did a show about the evolution of guns and covered it.
As much as you want it to ar means armalite rifle.
we know what UncleBuck is.... he is AR ..... Anal Retentive lolHe doesn't listen to facts.
I'm all for that.does anybody really give a shit what the rifle used in a mass shooting's band name is or it's killing power compared to a shotgun?
Fuck an A! Set up a rational system of gun controls to make it difficult for people who shouldn't have them to get any gun and track the ones that are legally owned so that when a gun is stolen, the authorities know about it and can start looking for it. Make illegal ownership or using a gun in a crime worse than most of the crimes committed with them so that it's not worth the risk of using it in a crime.
Who gives a shit about whether its AR or ar? The NRA wins when they manage these kinds of deflections.
no it doesn'tThing is it stands for armalite rifle. .
You aren't alone in this. It clearly matters to a lot of people because the AR stuff is brought up every time assault rifle bans become topic dejour. Personally, the only thing that matters is we enact effective gun control legislation and the gun homicide rate drops.I'm all for that.
Thing is it stands for armalite rifle. No reason to deny that. I'm trying to have a serious conversation. Trust me. Its been on my mind. I've taken a serious look at myself as a gun owner. To be honest I bought that rapid safe a few months back. Discussing this stuff rationally does makes changes.
You know my stance. I want some loops closed. Tighten some things up. Penalize agencies that fail to share info.

CNN states ar stands for armalite rifle.
Some people will be turned off to even having a serious debate over it.
Maybe it doesn't matter. Maybe its my ocd is the cause of it bothering me.
Read that article. Ifs interesting. You aren't alone in this. It clearly matters to a lot of people because the AR stuff is brought up every time assault rifle bans become topic dejour. I think this is one of the NRA's tactics to deflect talk about taking action. Maybe I'm just paranoid and the NRA is a benign association of people who love hunting and competition-shooting.
It would be as interesting to me as an article in Tractor Weekly on the changes that Gravely made to mid-sized tractors in 1956. Not that I'm against tractors either. I just want to the carnage from Tractors to stop too.Read that article. Ifs interesting.
The last ban kind of fueled the demand for them. You can see it now. Makes me wonder if trump owns gun stock and threatened a ban to drive up sales.
Tell someone they .ca t have something and they want it.
Tbeh were never really banned in the first assault weapons ban. There where ways to get around it.
Sales were slow and stagnant. Guns and ammo even disliked the gun in an 80's edition.
Sales increased after the ban.
I guess if considering a ban then one needs to look at how the last one worked out and what parts worked and what didn't.
All the coverage and talk of bans is fueling another buying frenzy. It would be as interesting to me as an article in Tractor Weekly on the changes that Gravely made to mid-sized tractors in 1956. Not that I'm against tractors either. I just want to the carnage from Tractors to stop too.
On the other hand, everybody wants to hear from a non-gun tractor owner like me who "read an article" or "saw the video". So, maybe I'll reconsider. I mean the world, with so many tractor experts who could write effective laws to reduce tractor homicides need me to edit and approve it.
No offense, I'm just playing with an idea that I think is pretty funny. It's just that I'm more interested in bread making than the history behind the name of the AR-15. I'm fine with others wanting to. Also agree that effective gun laws can only be written by a coalition of stakeholders, law enforcement, lawyers and law makers. If you want a passionate voice from the mass of ignorant people who want other people to hear their opinion, talk with @ttystikk
We can't cure stupid. It happens every time this subject comes up. We also hear the ignant say in defiance "nobody is going to take their guns away". Well, yeeeaaah, there is no reason to take guns away from a peaceful person if they meet background checks and don't threaten anybody. All the coverage and talk of bans is fueling another buying frenzy.
I can remember a time when ar15 were not popular. It has now become mainstream.
Just part of them problem that needs solved. The fuel that's driving the buying frenzy.
Well since you mentioned it I have purchased 8 in the last 2 years. 7 are still in the packaging and have never been fired. Thats not including my wife and kids'. Thanks. This is exactly what I suspected. LOL. But your hobby is harmless. Like collecting china cabinets. They won't be worth anything and nobody will want them.Well since you mentioned it I have purchased 8 in the last 2 years. 7 are still in the packaging and have never been fired.
