Im digging the 340mm Slim version. Those will be ideal for me, finally can actually make 3x3(ish) panels with the many 700ma CC drivers I have.
Same. Also the square form factor interesting for some placement ideas where it doesn't make sense to deploy an array with strips.

yeah, slim version for me too, perfect to squeeze the last volt out of my drivers.
CRI 90 as suplement, as i have 80 allready.
In between these or some of the newest cree photo red from cutter (almost 4 mol per watt)
Hm, if i am right, 3000k is the best cri 90 for these?
3500k spectrum is nice, but it looks lumen per watt is same value for 3000 and 3500, so 3000 is in favor then, thought 3500k put out more lumens but was wrong.

Octopart search still has no stock anywhere....although a couple of the part numbers hit Digikey with prices, with no parts available.

I'm still running Gen1 on all but one fixture, but it looks like I held out long enough to make upgrading, actually an upgrade...hehee

Digikey has the "slim" variant listed, only the 80cri ones so far. In Canadian pesos they have it listed as:

34cm = $10.84
59cm = $14.36
119cm = $22.30

For what it's worth...they seem to have STEEPLY discounted the remaining Gen 2 stock. Very tempted to grab some more strips and add to the collection!

This is the link for both the Gen 2 stock and the "slim" Gen 3 which isn't in stock yet. They're saying "standard lead time 1 week", so shouldn't be too long before we start seeing them.

https://www.digikey.ca/products/en/optoelectronics/led-lighting-cobs-engines-modules-strips/111?k=bridgelux+strip&k=&pkeyword=bridgelux+strip&sv=0&s=60762&s=75101&sf=0&quantity=&ColumnSort=0&page=1&pageSize=25

I take back the STEEPLY comment. Maybe REALLY NICE would be a better way to describe the discount. Compared to the last time I checked, maybe a couple months ago, seems like about a 25% discount.

The Gen 2's are $4.22 / $7.26 / $11.88 ($12.65 for the 5000k, bumped the price up a bit in the last hour!) for the 28/56/112cm strips respectively.

Thinking of doing a 4x4 build for flowering only. What gen to strips would I look at ? And how many would I need to properly flower a 4x4?

Google "LEDgardener strip builds" He will havea list of builds for 2x2, 2x4 ect using Bridgelux EB gen 2 strips and others, he will have parts numbers for each size strip in each colour and you can google those to find a supplier.
It will also list driver sizes wire gauges ect.. At a minimum 480w for a 4x4. Personally I would probably go in the 500s.
