Dang! I didn’t know the 45-70 had ballistics like that sweet. Still is allot longer than the .460 round.

Throw an FTX projectile on those bad boys and would prob be another 200fps faster. Crazy.

That’s what it does to the 30/30 round. 200fps all things the same.

I had shot the bfr in 45/70 and it was fun as shit when i was younger. Never shot it in other rifle rounds they make it for now though.

I had a chance to buy one straight from the armory when I was an Airman and they were getting rid of them all. I think they wanted $40 for them but I was a broke Airman with two kids and couldn't scrape up the money.

I just picked up the Mini, I haven't fired it yet. I want to add optics and I cannot decide between a Red Dot or a low power scope.....I'm leaning toward the scope. I have my eye on a 2x7 Leopold scope that I think would look real good on this rifle and give me range out to 300-400yds...

I looked at the M1A scout but I can carry a lot more .223 ammo than .308. I once read a report that the number of enemy kills in a firefight were directly correlated to how many rounds each soldier carried....more rounds sent down range = more enemy killed.....

I'm alarmed you're allowed to purchase a rifle because you think that rifle is the best at killing many people.
