That was very cool of you. Thank you. Sorry I've been away all week. I have been going to county board meeting all week.

A few misguided people in our area are trying to get cannabis businesses banned through the county board and actions of city councils. Myself and others from our church are interested in opening our own. And I am friends with several other medical cannabis patients and recreational users as well. So I have taken to speaking out for all of us again.
You would not believe the misinformation and also the full-on and outrageous lies these fanatics were spouting. Espousing a calling from God to block cannabis based businesses. And being a Church elder myself I found that, them, their lies, attitude, and description of people who use cannabis particularly offensive.
They even went so far to say that we "got away with medical and should be happy with that"....
The short version of what I testified to worked down to, if you dont want cannabis in your home, dont buy it. Teach your children well and pay attention to them. Leave the rest of us alone. I also added (while I support gun rights) in argument to there claims of dangers and security risks of theft or robbery, that there were fewer rules and security restrictions on gun shops than would be imposed on any cannabis related business.
Anyone who can, should attend any city council or county board meeting pertaining to cannabis businesses being allowed in your area. You need to let your voice be heard! Medical patients speak up! And show evidence through your comments that cannabis based businesses should not be be regulated out of existence before they can even begin! Your voice and presence matter. Get your friends to come and support our cause too. Where I am from we all wear green shirts to show solidarity. Stand up, be a part of the process and fight for our legal rights to safe access and the ability to open a legal business! This is still America and and we have won this right back through long and hard work. Don't let these people steal it away after everything we have all gone through!

It does seem like it's getting worse. My dispensary is only showing 2 strains of flower at $50 an eight and $160 an half O of popcorns

From what I understand... after January 1, the amount of flower a dispensary has to keep on hand for medical cards is going to be a 30 day supply.
This amount is determined by the grams sold in the last 60 days of 2019. If the dispensary keeps only small packages at a premium price, that 60 day sales amount will be smaller. The amount that they have to keep for medical cards will then be smaller.

Just my observation...

Not angry at you just the situation. I think this is more about cultivators sandbagging products for January 1st. They are going to sell out at any of the places that will actually get to open. God -can you imagine the lines?

My last visit to the dispensary was interesting... tearing out drywall and studs... the agent I met with stated that rec customers will not have access to online ordering... that will help move us thru... and they will be open on New Years, normally it would be a holiday.

My dad has a mm card and hes told me hes seen oz for 380 and 8th for 65 and its garbage! The last time I was there I pulled out some old ass strain I had since 2014 and he said it looked better than what he's been getting. That there makes me never want to go back to Illinois.

Your right doe the prices are outrageous that shit adds up when u go thru a oz every two weeks all the bud they have been selling has been pretty shit to

My husband is currently on Chemo treatment and he is taking cannabis oil for nausea Yesterday, I realized that he is low on oil and I needed to make some more RSO. However, only buds I have at home are THC heavy buds. So, I needed to get more CBD heavy buds. Well, this is what our dispensary is selling. Is this sound right? 1g for $19.66? AND it doesn't indicate the amount of THC or CBD. What is this!

That looks and sounds like some stuff sold in a vape shop. Claiming to be cbd but no info.

Bio Jesus is a good strain but not what you are after. It is way too strong. At least that's what I have gathered from our previous posts.

Sweet pea, sweet relief, pain killer#1, euphoria, blue shark and hurkle (all co2 full plant extract) from Shelby county community Services. Listed in order of high CBD to low thc. The Dispensary in Fulton Illinois has all of those oils (in dispensing syringes) for $42 per gram. Sure is a much better deal than buying flower at $20 per gram.
I also just checked your dispensary. They have shelby county rso there at $60 per gram. There are six different types with high CBD, with some also being from PTS (1) and GTI (2). All listed at $60. If I were you I would pay them a visit and try some of those. It will be way more cost effective for your family than making your own. At least until you can harvest your own.

I'm in Chicago area and some prices have been back down over the past couple of months. Cresco and other similar are still going strong at 60-65 an eighth, but I've seen lower-profile growers at 40-something per eighth.

I'm expecting city prices to spike in January due to recreational consumer excitement, then eventually get cheaper than what they have been for medical card holders.

Personally, I think medical weed here is a giant ripoff. In California earlier this year you could find sixty dollar ounce specials.
