Water from nature in ancient times was much more pure than water from our natural environment in today's World.

Red wine (symbolically) represents blood, water does not.
that's not the fairy tale i was told: the water was not safe to drink. so he turned into jesus juice instead of clean water.

are you a King James guy? maybe that explains it.

Yes, however I read from several Bible's, it helps to better Translate certain scriptures by cross referencing them to find out their true meaning, sometimes the use of words from different translations can bring about a deeper understanding and so forth.

I'm not a flat earther however, and I do have a JW Bible as well.

Traditionally, people could believe what they want, Trump and the pandemic changed that, some beliefs are dangerous for the community and some religious leaders (or con men) are engaged in antisocial and dangerous activities. All this to feed the mindless of superstition a majority of so called Christians who support Trump, the poster boy for the seven deadly sins. Your faith has given you no special insight or even compassion, you find those in civil society and so did Christians, they didn't stop burning people at the stake on their own and there was no divine revelation telling them not to do so, civil law and secular society did that.

If you want to spout religion or anything else, you had better be prepared to defend your contentions against an increasing majority of people who see religion as dangerous, and not harmless or of any benefit to society at all. Regular churches are dying and megachurches are filling with morons, and this is no insult, but a fact.

A true/pure Christian is commanded to not murder and kill, the only time that a Christian was allowed to kill was during battle, only if it was ordained my God himself for his people to defend themselves.

A true Christian is not in agreement with torture or killing of his fellow man, this goes against the Christ like behavior and personality that Christ Jesus emphasized during his presence on Earth before returning to heaven (Besides the 10 Commandments).

DIY, I mentioned blood and then was asked a question about my beliefs shortly afterwards, the thread is about what drug Ivanka might be suspected of taking, I was simply stating my opinion, but I will share what I know about Christianity or the Bible with others when asked.

There are 1400 different translations of the Bible that were written/created throughout history, not every Bible follower knew the exact truth about Jesus and God, so some Bible's allowed people to stray from the true meaning that was written in the unadulterated original Bible when it was created, hence the murders that you speak of correlate to this fact.

Do you think your beliefs in mindfulness, meditation and vitD are less deluded than a Christian’s

Both are evidence based, mindfulness meditation has a huge number of good quality studies done on it and more all the time, I'm a secular practitioner, not at all religious, it's very sciencey stuff too BTW.

Vitamin D deficiency is a fact of life as are the studies done on it including a large meta study recently released, this is science zeddd, and there is some controversy about the proper levels and defining deficiency. There is no debate however about its importance in respiratory immunity and avoiding the worse effects of a covid19 infection like ARDS. My interest in this is helping myself and others who are older to survive this ordeal by making sure they are not deficient in vitamin D, especially at this time of year.

Check the evidence base for both of these items, there's no debate about meditation, any more than there's one about the benefits of fitness, it's just another form of exercise. I could post a lot more credible info about vitamin D, but I've posted enough to inform and what I've posted has been evidence based and responsible.

So yes there is quite a difference between what I advocate and religion, there evidence and science.

I was asking if you think one faith has merit over another?
