See what he wants to say, it doesn't hurt much to tell us about where he is from and what culture he comes from. All people need not think alike, I can tolerate different POVs, to a point. If you are from another part of the world America is more distant, trolls have a purpose, swaying your vote, keeping you home on election day, sowing cynicism etc. There are also many xenophobes abroad, America is not alone in its reaction to globalization, many smaller cultures without the mass of the Anglo world, feel threatened, even by anglo cultural dominance.Sock Speaking Slob

Not just the UK, US and Canada are becoming multicultural other places are too, immigrants don't get off a boat today and forget the old country, they can fly home (covid is a hiccup in this larger context). They use the internet and skype to maintain cultural and linguistic ties. It's multicultural as well as a melting pot. This has implications globally, not just in America and we are seeing the results.
