It's rewarding isn't it? Watching your baby grow up from a little seed. I just had one sprout 3 days ago and another sprout today. Gotta love 'em.

I just want more and more and more and more lol....
but i cant right now : P
i am excited to see how it turns out now with all this TLC
and it drinks like a horse o_o i always come home n find the soil sorta dry and it's has like 3 new growth sites o_o
i put up pix asap : )

Here's an update : )
I'm in that "just-leave-it-alone" phase with my baby now
I don't pay much attention to it, just give it it's water, it's quiet time, and it's light : )
It's getting pretty bushy and i put 2 more lights on it now : )

i was wondering whether not i should start to give it nutes because it drinks like a horse and it's pretty strong now
anyone got feedback? : )

Just remember that 1/4 strength thing, don't go full strenght right at first, baby steps. Looks good though !

Wuddup, just checkin in again to see how your babys doin, n shes lookin pretty nice, good work Mj!! 
Now you see what i mean about how much fun it is, and how addictive it can be?? feels fuckin nice to be able to grow somethin from seed that turns out to be so beautiful n danky - you just end up wantin to grow more n more, lol.
N As far as the nutes go, maybe i skipped the page where you said what nutes and soil your usin - so lemme read back a little bit, but if your using Miracle grow or somethin along those lines, dont even give it 1/4 strength. Its not worth it. If your using MG soil, i wouldnt give it anything at all for the next month, n then i would start feeding at a minor fraction of what the recommended dose is. But it does look like some regular soil, i see no nutrient "balls of death", so you look good in that dept. Lemme check to see what nutes your usin, n ill get back here in one sec.
Ok im back, for sure DONT USE NUTES. your still usin MG soil, and if you use nutes your gonna burn your plant. My advice would be no nutes at all, unless the plant shows signs of deficiency, and even then, just give the plant what its deficient in, not an entire nutrient formula. MG Sucks, at least in my opinion. I didnt pay attention to the same advice im givin you on my 1st grow, and i ended up giving my plant nute burn like 5 times cuz i kept on thinking its been long enough - so i fed her - she burned - i flushed, repeat. I know you wana do more the the plant because you wanna feel like your helpin it along, n u wanna get some killer nugs out of your 1st harvest, but its getting what it needs, trust me.
good luck, n ill be checkin back in from time to time. Keep posting in your journal - your plant looks REALLY nice right now, and YEP, you got yourself an Indica plant for sure.

yo so lately my plant has been growing lots but since i burnt it a lot time ago it didn't have a top cola...
so i decided today to cut off one of the leaves that was COMPLETELY obscuring the middle of the plant
it was already half burnt anyway from another incident
i think i did good
have you ever had to cut leaves off to better develop the main cola of your plant =/
and so far with the nutes i've been giving it 1/2 strength and NO BURNS : )

As far as trimming leaves go, I very rarely cut leaves off unless they are diseased or buggy.
Many people will tell you many things regarding pruning. I think that the fan leaves are an overall energy contributor to the plant and it will miss it.
If I trim the lower section of a plant for circulation I usually just trim off the stems that come from the main stem above where the fan leaf attaches and leave the fans whenever possible.
Do I think it hurts it that bad, no, not a few leaves for looks, or in your case to let more light into the inner parts.
If you are going to flower with CFL I would probably cut every branch off the main stems from the lower third of each of the two main branches. And flower! Especially if I didn't have a lot of space and no HID.
Just my opinion, we'll see if anyone agrees with me.

Don't listen to that guy. I'm not sure how much bud you'd get. You should let it veg for a while longer in my opinion.
