i realize this is an old thread... but you sir have a real gem on your hands if you still have these plants.... they are of real value and i believe such psychedelics should not be taken lightly or given away or sold to just anyone. they are very very strong and extremely spiritual.

So how long does it take to grow out a T. Bridgesii cactus from seed to dosing length? About this long....
Started this thread in June of 2016 and it is now December 2018. The tallest cactus in this cluster is now over 15" in length; a few are still under 5". There are still 13 cacti in this cluster; they probably would all grow much bigger much faster if they were separated but I'm not sure I could do that now without messing up the roots. They are probably fully entwined at this point. Anyway i transplanted into a larger container to give them more room to grow. Here's some recent pics:

That's pretty cool man. It's more of a journey growing these huh? I think if I did this, I would have some sort of emotional attachment to the cacti by the time to consume came around.

Not sure I will ever cut them down at this point. They are like my children. Might be fun to see how big these can get just sitting here on a windowsill. Just realized yesterday I said it's December of 2018 but it is 2019; that OG kush done got me..

Lol, pretty cool anyway man. I might have to give it whirl someday. I doubt I would chop mine either after growing them for years.

From what I have read the inside flesh of a bridgesii can be consumed as is or made into a tea. The mescaline is distributed through the entire cactus; heard you need about a foot long length to extract a single dose. Got the seeds from a reputed vendor on shroomery; think it was exotic botanicals or something like that. They were like $8 shipped...

The largest cactus in this cluster is now about 4 ft high. Time to think about either taking some cuttings and/or extracting the goodies. I have found a tek for extracting pure mescaline. I do not wish to ingest any plant materials as I have a weak stomach for shit like this but I do want to try the alkaloids I have spent all these years growing. Just thinking about eating raw cactus makes me gag. So it’s either gonna be a pure solvent extraction or nothing at all. Have read that T.Bridgesii is as potent if not more than Peruvian torch. I probably have a total of 8 feet of cactus long enough to do an extraction with so that’s 8 doses. The tek I’ve seen requires a minimum of 100g or dried cactus so I plan to cut it all into star shaped slices and dry in a dehydrator. Then grind it all into dust w/coffee grinder. Anybody tried this?

Yep, but I didn't dry them. It is a genuine pain in the ass and in the fingers (and feet for me).
