Down here in Ca, as of the new year, they now will be good for a year after date of purchase. That is a good thing imo.

It’s been a slow rollout process. Missouri did that when I was a kid. It irritated the hell out of me trying to get a new license in line during Christmas rush just to maybe fish New Year’s Day early. Thankfully the flooding has temporarily saved me from buying my new license.
