Roger,I hear that,I get pissed w.some of our Navy's decisions (that LCS program put a hurting on our blue water navy's blue water ships as frigates can deploy w/carrier groups but also free up Arleigh Burke destroyers on less serious missions,putting all eggs in the LCS program left a gaping hole and some built in 2006 are already slated for decommission). Are main advantage is submarines(we have the quietest deadliest attack subs) and I'd count on them to wreak havoc),Risking carriers is sketchy inside the 1st island chain as China's ballistic missile fleet is specifically designed to kill carriers and losing just ONE w/6000 personnel and over a billion of national treasure(boat+aircraft) would be an incredible hit to our nations psche.Go to wikipedia and google PLA type 52D and type 55 destroyers and look at how many they have pumped out,some of the 52D's have 6 commissioned in ONE fkn yr,we are lucky to commission 2 Arleigh Burkes in one yr.To pump out the #'s of ships they are commissioning doesn't look like ordinary procurement to me it shows hastened intent.

You would do well to stop listening to coordinated disinformation vendors like Rumble. They are de facto Russian and Chinese propaganda outlets. Both those nations have plainly expressed interest in sabotaging American society.
When something sounds like right-wing propaganda, distrust it as a probable bid to undercut the nation. Check the source. Media Bias/Fact Check dot com is a pretty good tool to spot the purveyors of conspiracy.
Rumble is an especially bad one.

Killing Russians is unfortunate, but necessary to destroy Russian military power, we would prefer a war of maneuver where the equipment, training and leadership come more into play. That would result in the capture of tens of thousands of prisoners in blitzkrieg armor encirclements and cutting off troops to force battalion scale surrenders. It is preferable to this slogging match and insane slaughter of Russians that also costs Ukrainians. A blitzkrieg can take more Russians off the battlefield more quickly and save more lives on both sides. One other thing, dead Russians can't talk and stir up shit back home and would be more trouble for Vlad to deal with than the dead, who can just be buried and forgotten. The objective is to win the war and eject the Russians, not kill them, killing them is a byproduct of defeating and destroying them. He can have the warm bodies back, but their arms and equipment are gone for good.

Russia unleashes massive missile attack on targets in Ukraine
Russia battered Ukraine with a “massive rocket attack” of missile strikes that hit critical infrastructure and residential buildings across the country, Ukrainian President Zelensky said.
“It’s been a difficult night. A massive rocket attack across the country. … Attacks on critical infrastructure and residential buildings,” Zelensky said in a Telegram post.
“The enemy fired 81 missiles in an attempt to intimidate Ukrainians again, returning to their miserable tactics. The occupiers can only terrorize civilians,” he added.
The Ukrainian president said attacks targeted several regions throughout Ukraine, including Odesa, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia — which houses Europe’s largest nuclear power plant — and the capital city of Kyiv. Some were injured and killed in the strikes, Zelensky said.
Zelensky and other top Kyiv officials quickly turned attention to protecting the country’s energy infrastructure and restoring power to affected areas.
“Despite thousands of Russian attacks, we will all together ensure the invincibility of Ukraine. We are working. We will win!” the president said.
Ukraine’s chief commander of the armed forces, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, said Moscow shot 81 missiles and eight Shahed drones into Ukraine on Thursday, according to the Associated Press.
The onslaught of strikes comes as Ukraine defends embattled Bakhmut. Reuters reports that Russia’s defense ministry said it carried out the new strikes in retaliation for an alleged raid last week on a village in the Bryansk region of Russia last week.
“Russia launched a massive missile and drone attack on Ukraine overnight, leading to loss of lives and damaging civilian infrastructure. No military objective, just Russian barbarism,” said Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.
“The day will come when [Russian President Vladimir] Putin and his associates are held accountable by a Special Tribunal,” Kuleba said.

Over the last year, Ukraine has received a number of antiair assets from the West. Some of those are likely deployed. I wonder if they had an effect on the outcome. This is one of the specific scenarios we’ve been equipping.

They spent a lot of money with 81 missiles to kill 9 civilians and cause some property damage that was probably less than the cost of the missiles, about 50 got through though. It appears to be disappointing performance, but the attacks were very wide ranging, the important targets were better protected, the integrated AA defense system is a work in progress.

They had to do a swarm attack so some would get through and it is taking them longer to assemble such attacks and when they do, they must be widely dispersed. With limited missile defense options, some targets were given defensive priority. The Ukrainians are better protected from drone attack than missile attack, both cruise and ballistic. The patriot systems have yet to be deployed and they are training on other AA systems too. With Iran siding with Russia expect Bebe in Israel to get more aggressive and that might include Iron Dome for Ukraine and attacks on Iranian production facilities for weapons and nukes. If Israel gets wind of Russia giving nukes or materials to the Iranians for arms, Bebe will go nuts on both of them as an existential threat.
