It doesn't get much cheaper than this, propulsion kits of a motor and prop cost about $20USD, flight control computer +GPS under $100, cheap servos cost about $2 each, cardboard costs... A FPV camera and transmitter and it becomes a suicide drone with a kilo of HE for an additional $50 bucks. Plenty of plans for making RC planes out of carboard and dollarama foamboard on YouTube. Everything is laser cut and packaged as a kit to hot glue together. Those prices are for retail, things get much cheaper by the hundred or more lot on Alibaba and the BOM for the parts could be around $50 or less.

A blitzkrieg will end this bullshit, but they have to wait for the ground to dry out and the armor to be deployed and trained on a bit anyway. It costs the Russians a lot, but this kind of shit also cost Ukrainians. On the other hand, a Blitzkrieg armor attack will breakthrough their lines, encircle and cut off hoards of the bastards and force mass surrenders on a brigade level, IE Early WW2. It might not cost many Ukrainian lives at all and will probably save more Russian lives than anything else, it also saves ammo and equipment and can lead to more captured equipment than loses. Ukraine needs prisoners to swap for stolen kids and living POWs are more trouble for Vlad than dead troops, the dead can't talk and don't need to be paid. They will come back home with stories and an attitude that the government might find hard to deal with. Of course, I think the most humane way to end this war would be to cut the rail bridges feeding it inside Russia, both to cut off the troops there and cut off any more from arriving.

Blitzkrieg usually contains the element of surprise. I don’t think that applies here.

I could be wrong, but the likelier scenario for Ukraine to prevail is Druckkrieg, a war of relentless pressure against the aggressor.

To make this work, uninterrupted logistical support from the West is important. This war is a lesson in the primacy of having enough ordnance laid in.

It could be duckkrieg :lol: if they cross the Dnieper at Kherson as a diversion, they will use deception, just like D Day, the Russians know it's coming, just not where and when. They will want to draw Troops to the southwest and east, if they strike south and might strike east first then south to do it, they have short lines of communications, and the Russians have long ones.
