DAY 24 and 25: the plants were droopy on day 24 so watered continuing to use the remo nute chart on fastbuds. they seem to be happier today.CA361344-3488-463B-B224-123AAC271ED4.jpeg2C682F1E-9263-4749-B1DB-A11E6EB825D5.jpeg

DAY 2: just put the baby’s into the tent. Was too lazy yesterday. Also gave them a watering with 250 ml water each. Put a very small amount of velokelp into the water. Forgot to PH so hopefully that won’t be an issue due to promix buffering. 65967542-233C-46A5-8622-0C539AB30A3B.jpeg

DAY 26: not too much change today. I think i need to start to LST. The other 2 baby’s are dried out so i am going to give them a decent watering.95F45C9A-B9F5-4630-90F3-7FF7A7566AAC.jpeg

I see pistils so i guess it is time for stretch. Was hoping for more veg time but looks like it is time to start ti switch nutrients slowly.

DAY 27: got the plants into the autopot system last night. They seem to be liking it. Started to feed them pre flowering nutes. 36BE9E3F-97BD-48E6-BE1B-E10F91D049A0.jpeg

DAY 5: thought i would give an update on the 2 seedlings. They don’t seem to be doing much at the moment. Gave then some water today (1 litre each) because they were pretty dry. I am thinking about starting to put the humidity domes on again because they seem to be moving pretty slow. Also going to start to put them on the heat mat again. IMG_0400.jpegIMG_0399.jpeg

DAY 29: the bigger plants seem to be doing okay but the seedling are not moving. It always happens this way if I don’t put a dome on. Even with the humidity at 34%. Don’t know why everyone says not to but it is clear for whatever reason seedling in my house need at least 1 week of humidity domes going on and off before anything happens.IMG_0401.jpeg

That's the main reason for using solo cups for your seedlings, it's much easier to control watering...

Cheers

DAY 30: filled up the autopot last night. The plants seem to have stopped growing and i am noticing some things that don’t look quite right. The one pot has fungus growing at the top which I am not sure if it going to cause any issues. Also the top of the plants almost look like they have a nitrogen toxicity but i am not really sure.IMG_0405.jpegIMG_0404.jpegIMG_0403.jpegIMG_0402.jpeg

DAY 32: i just diluted the reservoir by approximately half. Looks like the plants are doing okay but they look overfed with the clawing and shiney dark leaves and twisted growth. I am hoping that diluting the reservoir helps. After they drink up most of the water i am thinking about fully draining and cleaning the reservoir before refilling. I am also thinking i might wanna try and defoliate a bit but don’t want to stress them out too much.IMG_0408.jpeg

Have you ever checked your ppm's ?

Cheers
No I haven’t actually. I should try to find the meter that came with my tent. Not really sure how good it will work though. I have some calibration solution but it is from 3 years ago so not really sure. I guess if the reading on the meter is close to the amount on the bottle i will assume it is fairly accurate.

DAY 33: the girls still seem to be clawing but i would assume that it would not disappear in a day. They seem to be a lot happier as they don’t seem to be drooping anymore. The little seedling made a little progress after i watered them with 22 C water. I found out i was watering with 19 C which I believe was stunting them. Hoping they take off soon as they are supposed to finish around the same time as the others.IMG_0410.jpeg

I just checked the ppm and it looks to be at approximately 660 after diluting the autopot tank so it must have been around 1200 ppm before diluting. Seems like i should dilute it a bit more to get it around 500-600 but not really sure.

At that age and size 5-600 sounds reasonable.

Give them a day or so and see how they look. Nice and green and praying, spot on.

Then I will slowly increase the amount until I see slightly brown tips on the leaves. Stop there for a while ;)

Cheers

PS > I doubt if that temperature difference in your water made a difference. In nature is the rain always a constant temperature ?

Thanks for the response. Yea i am going to try and get it down to 550 or so. As for the rain i believe that the temperature may not be constant but in my experience plants don’t seem to grow really quick at the beginning if they are left alone with the rain water. If i am not mistaking seedlings prefer warmer water and temperature for quick root formation. I am looking to get them started and rooted as quick as possible so I am hoping that it helped. I was watering the seedlings that grew fast with warmer water although it might have just been the smaller container but i think it was a mixture of both of those things.

68F is optimal watering temperature.

I don't see an air stone in your reservoir ? Helps to keep the nutrients from settling to the bottom.

No I don’t got an air stone. I heard that they can cause the ph to go out of whack. I actually gave them a little stir to take the ppm and will probably stir it up every few days.
