Brought my second 3 HP pump online and into discharge mode. It's for my water features. Today it's going to assist my main pump in removing water from my pool so there's room for more water in my pool. I thought 3-4k would be enough advance removal. It looks like I might be wrong but they are big pumps and can move a lot of water. I'm just praying LA County cleaned our storm drains in anticipation of our monsoon season. One year they did not and it backed into my tract which doesn't have storm drains.

It could be. I figured it would be worse on your side of the mountain. So far our drains are running so it looks like they cleaned them. I have the ability to move water in my backyard and it's all graded to go into my pool prior to my house. So as long as we stay under 1.5"/hour and our storm drains hold we should be ok.
