Cure Puck

Upping my cure game with a cure puck from twister technologies. In short it’s a device made to automate the cure process. You mount on a drum or tote and it will automatically burp for you. Remote monitoring is also available so I can get alerts if moisture gets too high or just check on it anytime. I’ll be testing this product out and comparing final product with each other. I have been hang drying for 9 days so I’ll start the trim tonight or tomorrow and get to testing. I will be using a 27 gal tote this time until I find a nice sealed drum or tote. Stay tuned for more photos and updates, I should be harvesting 3-6 pounds this run. IMG_9765.png

There are so many consumer oriented curing solutions coming out now. It's great to see. Thanks for showcasing this.
Now we just need the science to catch up to it all. I laugh at the dehydrators some companies sell with “science” to back it. Part of the reason I’m so excited for the cure puck is the data logging. I’ll be able to have data points to work with to dial in the cure.

You can do that with a scientific freeze dryer too! I'm upping my finishing game this year too. I went with the freeze dryer option so I could quickly finish the process and so far I'm very pleased. But I need a little more time as I'm still in learning mode. Good to see this and I'm looking forward to seeing your experience with it.

Freeze dryer is goals for me especially for bubble hash. I’m hesitant in using with flower but I have seen some of the pics and they look like you just picked them almost.

I made one out of a 5gal pail with a lid. I used an air pump hooked to a humidistat. Inlet from the pump through the bottom, and and out let up top. Both with check valves. Cost $47. You could easily replace the 5 gal pail with a tote.

Mine didn't monitor co2. And the lid blew off once because of a faulty check valve. That was loud lol

Sweet little toy you got there!

I love it 24-36 hours and I have a finished plant. Best of all the terps are all preserved and smell just like the moment you chopped the plant. So far I'm loving it.

I was actually gonna build my own automated burping system with the same idea. Air pump on timer with check valves. The biggest advantage to the cure puck will be the data logging and precision instruments used to measure humidity and co2.
