I was not saying that we should not care where our tax dollars go. I was saying that as citizens it is our responsibility to elect officials, not dictate government spending. If you want your tax dollars to be spent a certain way, vote for the man/woman who shares your political views. You vote for someone that represents your view on a particular issue, and hope others will go the same direction, that is how it works. You have a voice, if you used it and things still didn't go your way, hope they do next time. It's not your country, its our country. We as a society decide who is going to make the decisions, and then they make them, not you.

If you are denying the fact that most pot smokers are liberals, all I have to say is WOW. I have never heard one person even try to dispute this, and that's with good reason. Did you forget to turn on your tv during the 60s/70s? I wasn't even alive yet, but if I were I would have known the obvious conclusion to be drawn is that smoking pot is generally a liberal activity.
