alright, so then it's settled. they have the constitutionally protected right, it is their private property, and they have been approved by local officials. that is game set and match.

even if you were to prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that this was some type of victory shrine (which you haven't), then they should still build there. we tolerate all types of free speech, no matter how reprehensible. that is the american way. just look at the westboro baptist church.

hell, you don't hear total liberals like me telling beck to move his 8/28 rally, even though i feel it is reprehensible for an open racist like him to hold it there on what i consider to be hallowed ground.

Think of it this way... what if someone put a statue of Hitler at one of your Synagogues? It's a slap in the face! And like Big P said, we can't control what our grandfathers did... when they funded Hitler they probably didn't even know what the money was going for in the first place.
