Yes, I am a stay at home mom. As far as the rooting powder/gel... you can try without... I don't see the need if you can get other things to root, but it does have some sort of growth hormone in most to promote the root growth... The great thing is, you can take a few clones, try them... and if it doesn't work, then try again after you have acquired gel/powder. Amazon is great for everything... thats where I just got my grow tent from.

Wow, they are taking only a little tiny clone, it looks like 2 inches? I think I'll go get some rooting gel tomorrow and do some cloning. Guess I need a clean blade for my exacto and some gloves. My fiance is going to be so mad that I am starting another plant. He hates my little projects.

Well, I go through phases where I get very wrapped up in odd projects. Last time it was fermenting.

He will be happy when we have free bud but he doesn't like my bringing the plant inside at night... He doesn't care what goes on outside. The clones will be in so he probably won't love them.

but the clones take like half the time to bud (if you take it from a female plant or veg plant from female seed)... obviously its a waste of time to take clones from a male if your going for the bud... do you know the definite sex of your plant???

It is showing some hairs so I am pretty sure it's female. The thing is that the plant is over 2 feet tall and not bushy at all and it was starting to flower because I've had it outside and the nights are long. I am now bringing it in at night and leaving it with a light (it's a bit smelly). I will cut some clones before I let this plant flower. I don't have any more seeds, I only had those 3 seeds in the bag I bought that one time and 2 of them died in replanting.

Oh yeah... she's looking ready... for clones and looks like flowering too, but if you keep the light, you can put her back into veg to grow more. LST will help make her grow bushier from the sides. Let light get to the sides for better development.

Here are a few more. I've never really looked at the top because it's above my head. I always keep her on the balcony ledge and on the dryer at night next to the open window for air.

Yeah, I vote for that too! Can't count how many times I've been called 'man' or 'bro'. LOL Even after I purposely started signing my posts 'Mandi' and changed my avatar to "Stoner Lisa".
Good thread Capt. - seems like you've got it back again after the hijacking... Just couldn't take a (very polite) hint, could he? I don't think I would have been able to be that nice about it. I've been here only since Sept., and even I know the unspoken rules on jacking someones thread. An added tidbit here or there is fine, but writing a book and doing the equivalent of pulling out the 'red marker' on someones stuff is a no-no!
BTW...you can get rooting powder at Home Depot for around $4 (where I got mine anyway). And MMJ...do you know that many auto parts stores (Auto Zone, NAPA, etc) will hook up a tester to your cars onboard computer and tell you what it says is the cause of that CHECK ENGINE light? Many do it for FREE, so you may want to grab the yellow pages and make a few calls to find one near you that can tell you whats up without spending a cent - repair is another matter... LOL.... thanks Mandi!!! LOL- I was assuming you were one of us by the way you spoke on the other thread (and the mandi gave it away a bit)... LOL- I thought my avatar would be a great hint, but if they don't get it, they probably think I am a gay man... LMFAO...
About the 'hi-jacking'... I really don't believe in hi-jacking of threads... like you said, tid-bits and added info is great, but I feel mostly plagiarized by that.
Good looking out on the auto zone computer thought for MMJ... I hate anytime I am without a car, even if I am not going anywhere... just nice to have an escape plan! LOL

I made my avatar more manish. I will really throw them off now. lol. Car is under warranty but it's taking forever!! lucky i don't do anything all day. On the way home I will pick up some rooting gel.

I'd like to say that I don't do anything all day, but my 3 year old keeps me on my feet most of the day... and if it's not her, its house work... BOO... LOL I like the zeppelin in your picture

Yeah, keeping the house is a chore. I am happy my place is small and the floors are all wood. I work from home a lot - mostly web development projects. I prefer this over going to work. Sometimes I am very busy but today, I haven't accomplished anything. I am still at the dealership. stinks because I could be making money.

That does suck. They don't have some sort of shuttle service for the dealership... or is it not supposed to take that long? I wish there was a way for me to make money while staying home...

They had a shuttle but it only takes you 5 miles and I live further. It took a long time but it's done now. I got some more supplies and I am going to attempt to clone. I will post some pix after :)
