Hey thanks for checking it out Letitgrow! I have been doing some mild LST throughout the last 2 weeks of flowering just to get the buds more light and I've seen some big results in the lower bud formation. I just do it until I feel like she has had enough. I was a baby when it came to topping lol, I just didn't want to F her up but I'm pretty confident that with the information that I have learned from this site I will have no problem doing it(kinda seems like you cant go wrong) when it comes to topping I have found a couple different methods that I am going to try out.. all though I believe my next grow will be a short party cup grow 12/12 from seed(because I'll be moving in 5 months), maybe I'll use 1qt pots or so. I have 3 more "Maui Wawi" seeds and a legit Grape Fruit seed so we'll see what happens!Looking beautiful homie, looks very green and healthy.
You can lst all through veg, just stop when you start flowering. Topping will increase your yield tremendously, look into for your next grow. Keep up the good work bro!
Thanks Spindles! Yeah I'm not too worried about the browning hairs, the buds are still growing nice and plump! And thanks for the info about transplanting.. she is just too close to the dirt and spread out for me to attempt. Maybe someone with expert transplanting skills but thats not me! lol.Nice plant mate, really looks healthy and thriving.
I wouldn't worry about early orange/brown hairs, different strains show them at different rates as they mature. Sometimes they are a sign of some mild stress or damage (for instance on a crowded plant, a bud with a leaf pressed against it will show some brown hairs if the leaf is removed).
Personally I continue to LST for the first 2 weeks of flowering, countering some of the stretch and widening the canopy, I have had good experience with this and find that it gives better light to the buds as they develope and makes it much easier to harvest.
I would also say that it is safe to repot a plant in flower to a larger pot for the first 2-3 weeks, although once the roots start to spread you will see some obvious stretch and it leads to "stringy" weed as a result, in my experience (not a reduced harvest, as such, more that the same amount of bud is spread thinner across the plant and buds have a wheat like growth pattern).
Good luck with your grow.
Thanks smokey! She's not looking so happy today thoughLOOKING GREAT Firebird!!!
Baha thanks HS, it actually worked out a lot better than I expected.Hey Freebird loving the T connector I use those myself, for a number of reasons. +rep for the T connector and having the right idea for CFL growing well done.
P.S. Typo in the plus rep note... meant T connector rules.
Thanks man. Lol and your right millyy, I still don't have it down.Looking real good, love the light set up you have. Oh and editing pics can be fun and hard at the same time haha, goodluck with it bro!

to give her about 50% runoff. I'm thinking about flushing her next watering in an effort to get rid of any buildup in the soil.Use 2ml/gallon Tiger Bloom, 5ml/gallon Big Bloom, and 8ml/gallon Liquid Karma.
