No one here is saying that LED is better than HID when it comes to weight per plant, just that it is likely as efficient referring to grams/watt. I think we can all agree that getting 2.5 g/watt isn't typical of any grow and is a tip of the hat to the grower more than his light. I've seen many people with 400W lights suck ass.
What this threads original mission (at least my opinion of what it was) is to prove that LED is indeed a viable option for people looking to grow.
Quality = same
Quantity = similar in terms of grams/watt, not grams/plant
It's not hard to admit that. LED's work. But so do HID's.

Fine I agree no arguing, to clarify the 252W was the power drwan at the plug not it's 500W of LED pushing power.
I have purchased a high power unit of 550W with cree 3W LED's, I have my trusty 600's and 2x 4x4 flower tents for a comparison grow in 2 weeks. If i get the same yield or slightly less but frostier buds then it should make more sense. OR it could fall well short, time will tell.

I admitted when I made a mistake in that sentence-- I assume that since you prefer digging yourself deeper that this is out of the question in your psyche.
You totally blew my mind by sharing that a couple conversions would change metric to "american scale", I thought for sure a black hole would open up if someone figured out how to do that! I should not need to explain the common sense that any measurement of similar type can be converted to another, such as length (inches to light years, lol!), volume, force, etc., but when the conversions are unnecessary, to do so would be asinine. Sally needs to go to the store. The storeisacross the street. Sally can take infinitely many routes to go to the store, but the easiest way would be to walk across the street. This is my preferred method. Your method would have Sally take a bus across town, then walk to the store. Sure, she got to the store that way too, but why did it take her so long? Because the person giving directions enjoys being asinine. Do you poop outside, scoop it up and take it home to flush? I just do my business in the toilet to being with... but to each his own I suppose.
And if you want, Google the word "wrong" so you can understand its meaning, then Google the information in your original post to see its meaning used in an example. Wait, judging by your thought process, Google is a foreign word too. Damn.... nvm, I give up. Let me know how that tape measure + newtons density calculation works out for ya, chief. Our media is controlled, those who care enough to watch but not enough to think critically eat it up as gospel. Those who pay attention and try to raise awareness are "crazy". What we need is educational TV in the form of a "reality" show since apparently that is what passes these days. It'd be nice to see the Jersey Shore discuss how the tax changes of the early 80's affected the national debt--- then we might actually get something done about it.

In the UK we experience the same thing, trying doing anything without 3 million...YES 3 MILLION CCTV cameras in the UK, more than any other country in the world. Freedom my ass!!
As for education......a new mindset is required. Most of the what has been taught over the last 150 years is merely selective and manipulated.
The danger is real for the entire world but the wave of destruction has begun in America, the land that was evolved under your noses since it's inception by a secret shadow government.

I would have thought the bud on the right would have been heavier/denser, if it is not, I wonder about that bud....is it a "puffball"....it had so much potential?
