just wanted to mark today as being 21 days out from harvest, from my estimation anyways, i was all stoned during harvest last time and forgot to mark exactly what date i began flower. think i got it narrowed down within 2-3 days though.

i need to get some new strains rolling through here... the white rhino is a bitch to clone, but it looks like one has made it, and is recovering very nicely, though it is in soil and im curious of the root size. i need to get it transplanted into hydroton in the next couple days. my homeboy has some chocolopes and casey jones, so i may swoop up one casey jones and plug it in...

thinkin i might rock one more week of veg or so on my jungle green res tank, since when these go into the flower tent, thats whats happening...

ive confirmed that at least one of my air layers has some nice roots, though after spot checking a few others they hadnt shown yet, and the white rhino is lagging behind as usual.

the purple trainwreck is rocking out as usual big as fuck in the tent. since there is one runt that hasnt made it to canopy i have 1 plant taking up about half of the tent by itself... that is pretty legit, but im looking forward to growing with more plants in each side. upping my plant limits by 24 here shortly as well, which should allow me to get more clones going...

i promise some pics in a couple days... also, my homeboys soil project im building is going good, hes gotta get 8" ran up from the basement to the roof, so this weekend i might get to finish. all in all its a 2x1000w hps, nextgen ballasts, hydrofarm aircooled 8" hood, 3x6 flood table with irrigation for 10x 3gallon smartpots... looks like i will probably have him scrog it, with separate strains under each light accordingly... i really am not too familiar with irrigation systems, but i know the basic principals, so i think i should be good... just got him some roots organic, was thinking about promix, but i just wanted some shit that was ready to go, and something i know performs well... also have 2x8bulb hydrofarm t5s for veg. i will be taking some pics of it next time i go there, i hope they hurry up with the hvac cause i want to check this shit off my things to do...

my honest evaluation is that i am doing it moderately, but effectively XD

this summer i will hopefully be on doing it big status, but i must really rent another place. im hoping half of this duplex on the corner opens up, as it is a 2 minute walk, and i could just set up shop in there... right now we are trying to figure out a way to break our lease with no penalty.

Bro....your last harvest was 20 somethin ozs with three plants......I would call that big.....I thought I was doing great with 16 off four.....you put me to shame with that pull. LOL

Edit__________been there...done that with the whole breaking lease thing.....I bailed on a lease with 5 months left at $950 a month....they turned me into a collection agency....read the fine print.......I had no choice tho....it was stay there with no job and not make the rent at all....or move 1300 miles to make $40 an hour............I moved!!!!!

thats kind of what im going to do shortly as i think i would be on the hook even if i got evicted... what it boils down to is, if i move into a house, i add 6 lights, and would rather pay the rent here and move on with what i need to do. that is what i told my girl, after this chop we will be in the position to do whatever we need to... we could move out right now, and probably even buy a house, but i like buffer money just in case anything unexpected happens...

its all in the veg time though, 19oz was one plants alone... wish both that grow and this one didnt have a runt plant... my vegging plants are starting to bust out now, im gonna start fimming a bit tomorrow, and in about 1 week they should be hitting the tent. about a week or two behind schedule, but the next ones will be going in shortly after harvest.

kk, so things are starting to pick up, the plants in the veg reservoir have recovered from the transplant and are about to start booming... the one white rhino that hadnt really rooted good has started to really pick up pace, i think im gonna transplant it in a couple days. my air layers also have some roots, though i dont think many of them do, i think they arent getting watered enough, because we are only going once a day, but again, im not too worried XD

oh fuck almost forgot, the little bud you can see there with some gimpy leaves poking off of it is a reveg'd flower from a purple kush plant, that i got to root... im pretty geeked as the weed is funky as shit.

heres some pics of the soil setup i did for a friend, 3gal smartpots with irrigation in a 3x6 table, under 2x1000w on nextgen ballasts, air cooled hydrofarm 8" hoods... this system will be expandable to a very large reservoir and a total of 4 tables in the small ass room...

I run an irrigated soil system and have done the single 1/4" line method.....didn't work too well....uneven waterings.....now this is what I use....dual water rings fed by four 1/4" lines.... awesomeness!!!!!!! Perfectly even waterings...

nice! yea we gotta see how this is gonna end up working out, it can be modified, i designed it while i was runnin around a grow store grabbing shit... could always add another 1/4" line to each pot for the other side... i asked the grow store if they had drip rings but they did not, so that was they we went with the little 1/4" emitters/stakes.

air layers i took worked out and are recovering nicely... this one looked like it was gonna die for a few days once i snipped it, it was pretty shocked, looked like a normal cutting but has started to pick its leaves up today... not bad cut for less than 1 month invested in the whole process from when i did the layering... also, this is the white rhino i have that was a bitch to clone in the bubbler...

harvest is done, looks to be pretty good, left the pants to get some light for another week or so... tonight going to take clones from some mothers at a friends... gdp, og kush (larry cut), chem #4, chocolope, jack herer crossed with something i cant remember, and some others are available. about to be done with school, and taking a couple semesters off. i dont think im going to make more journals, i think im just going to continue to post pics in here from time to time and give some updates... my next journal i want to be the big one where i upgrade to 10kw later this year... either way, back later with some pics, btw, this one looks frostier than the previous one, which is nice, also the purple hues showed up a little bit more this grow despite warmer temps...
