from what i hear 2x 600w is much better than 1x1000w because the 600w lamps have the highest lumen per watt output. (obviously 200 more watts too) but if you can afford it i believe this is a better way to go and you can distribute your light better. im sure its going to cost more tho and i know that has a big say in it.

If you could do like you said 2 600 hps, mh you will get amazing results then just 1 1k watt light. better spectrum = better overall

yeah they are stretching WAY more now, those pics were from days ago...they are around 5 or 6 in tall now to the cotyledons...im going to raise the cups to the light rather than the other way around. i think this will be easier. think i will probably have to replant them now...grrr...hope this doesn't mess things up too badly...

so the 12 cfls i will be running will be running horizontally, 6 per "fixture" and the fixtures will be placed next to each other. this is a total of 276watts of light and supposedly `19000 lumens. the other 12 bulbs (or 9 and keep 3 6500k) are for the flowering stage, and so will be switched out when the time comes. this total of 12 cfls is for 8 plants. they will be kept in close proximity in a 3x3ft cube.

will this be enough light? i REALLY don't have the money to invest (yet) in a diy HID or retrofitted T5HO quad or hex or octo setup. i was thinking it would be. maybe not. maybe have to double it. which honestly will STILL be cheaper than T5HO which is the way i WANT to go...idk...

if you have to get a 150hps with remote ballast its cheap... will help for right now

i think alot of people start growing cuz they get tired of being ripped. it sucks sometimes i get a nice bag of decent mids which i dont mind paying for but then i get this shit and it makes me want to cry lol

i dont smoke alot so when i smoke i want a full flavored weed, its 1/2 of the enjoyment for me is the taste. it just isnt worth it to me to smoke something that tastes like complete shit to get baked (unless it has been one of those days)

all good ill raise the standards around here with my fine sensimillia :)

At least you only paid $30. 1/8 are $120 here.... But its always high grade shit. Not oregano.

$80-100 for 1/2oz of regs here as well.

yeah the shit i have is BARELY better than what ive seen, its not all thats available, but i dont bother with anyone other than 1 guy. too annoying. anyway its 50 for an 1/8, which is not bad around here. most would charge 60 as its supposedly OG kush. USUALLY when one picks up a bag of a named strain, one expects a certain quality. while it certainly does the trick quite nicely in fact, it doesnt look all that great. ugh now i have to get a pic lol brb

yeah 80-100 is not bad for regs (which in my book is decent GREEN bud)

that breaks down to 20-25 an 1/8 which if this 1/8th was 20 i wouldnt have been so irritated

one thing i have noticed is that many people think they cant delete the photos uploaded here. i found a way to delete my album...

anyways...sucks this happened but i guess it was bound to. stupid fuckers. all of the shit on here is so low key im sure it would be silly to worry about it, but it definitely hit all of us at home when we lost all our hard work...
