im sorry but a "good" christian doesnt exist, think about where your beliefs originated and how many innocent people were killed by the church for wanting to prove the facts of life. religion is never good, the morals of it can be attained in plenty of other places, a 2000 year old book thats been altered for years isnt the best place to look even though the rest of our nation decides to. if you wanna get in touch with your god, do some DMT or something.

the biological and genetic diversity we see in humans is unattainable given 2 humans in a garden 6k years ago, meaning original sin is physically impossible (if you buy this whole science thing).

without original sin, there is no need for christ's redemption.

My God didn't kill those people. People with their own agendas killed those people. They used the Bible for political gain. But they weren't directed by my God to do that.

I can be a good person for the sake of being a good person and still believe in God. Which I do. But I don't get into discussions like this normally because well...i'm not gonna convince you he's real and you're not gonna convince me he's not so why argue about it? Same reason I try to stay out of this damn politics section lol. Argue argue argue.

the idea of your god killed those very people, the disciples of him we're directly related to these deaths. that book possess much more power than most would think, especially back in the times when science couldnt answer anything. your religion did this.
and if you dont believe all that bullshit, then dont call yourself christian, just call yourself a theist. theres nothing wrong with that, neither is there anything wrong with being plain atheist.

Should he not reveal his existence because people can't handle it? I say Christian because it seperates me as someone who believes in Jesus Christ.

i dont think he ever will, and i dont think jesus really had anything to do with god. he was just a good person, thats not too abnormal. ghandi was good, so were plenty of other people, ill gladly help someone in any way i can doesnt mean im the son of god.
dont let religion answer things, theres always a better answer then just throwing god into everything. i also believe jesus christ existed, yet i still dont call myself christian.
