No, not at all Robbie. Feel free to show us what you got here, I don't pay for the space so lets fill it up. I'm really looking forward to this Deep Psychosis. The heavy indica's are getting tiresome and I have some plans I need to keep busy with and need me a good daytime smoke. I'm guessing this will be that.
ill be getting bb seds soon so ill be looking in rep for ya

Hey cof. Glad your here. I'm definitely thinking of putting in T5's. My cabinet wont take a four foot though so I have to go with 3's but I know a place, where I'm going Tuesday as a matter of fact, that sells individual fixtures that would work great so I'm going to check those out. Cfl's for side lighting is a good idea too. I've mentioned before that I'm swapping out my magnetic 600 for a digital so I have to go there anyway.

So some of you know that I'm going to the Cup next month with brother Jig but what you don't know is I'm heading over 9 days early and doing a little jaunt around Europe. I've got my Canon 5D II now and I'm ready to try it on big time. I've booked 90% of my flights already and it's all a go for me.

I start out landing in London and then fly to Budapest where I'm staying for a couple of days. This is my parents motherland that they fled in 1956 during the Revolution. It is the reason I'm here where I am. They are both gone now and I just can't fly overseas and not go there. From there I'm heading to Rome to meet brother Jig, but I have to stop in Zurich for a day first, then meet him there the next day. The plan is to rent a car and tour around the coast and such. No real plans other than that so far. After a few there we'll be jumping up to Adam a day or two before the cup starts. This is the part of the leg that needs some finalizing but I'm not too worried. We'll figure it out. Right Jig? lol

Hey Doc, welcome. I'll be getting some more BB soon too so stay tuned. I've grown some already with Deep Blue and they were beautiful plants and great smoke, I'm sure you'll be happy with whatever you pick.

Definitely in the right direction T. These Deep Psychosis definitely have some sativa in them. I've got two phenos that are mostly noticable in the bud, and then plant structure. I'm planning some update pics tonight when everyone wakes up.

In checkout it's telling me there's no shipping options available and to "contact us". Not sure what that's about. I'll just have to get mine when I'm there.

Yo Duchie,,,T Hip!?! Way to go man, that show should rock the house down!!
You're not kidding! Hometown boys and I've never seen them live, and to take my daughter, for her first real concert, is way too cool. The bonus is that she's stoked about it too. We've been talking about going to a show together for a long time but nobody coming through felt right. They were good and all, but this one came out of the blue and it seems to fit real good for both of us. I get by your thread soon HC to say hi and see what's up in your world.

So Doobie and Jig. After a long time going on about it, first out of my mouth and then just in my head, I present my new Axe and accessory.

She, is a Squire Vintage Modified Jazz and the combo amp is a Rumble 350. It was sold to me buy a great and knowledgeable bass player who I've seen play in a few bands in TO over the years. This girl is set up so nice and feels so good to play. I went back and forth between this one and a Mexican Fender for $300+ more and because it was so close I could justify making the step up. I also picked up an Apex 415 condenser mic and my nephew in law (don't know what else to call him) saved me $100 on a pair of M Audio BX5 D2 monitors. Oh! And a Yamaha P-105 piano for "my daughter", ;)

This morning I was practicing New Orleans is Sinking. Why! Because I just scooped two gold seat to The Hip in Toronto in February. They went on sale yesterday and I jumped on it. I'm talking my daughter View attachment 2381120View attachment 2381121View attachment 2381122View attachment 2381123
Hi, duchie!
Flippin' nice bass kit, dude!
Beauty of a guitar, and a solid amp.
Looking forward to hearing some tunes from you in the coming months. :-)
I took a forced break from playing bass & keyboards while getting my hands & arms checked out for nerve damage.
Turns out I might have some problems with a nerve that relates to my C5-C6 vertebrae, but won't know until I get an MRI done.
Anyways, been back to playing the last few days, and boy did I miss it!
Now I've got a month of inactivity with my hands to compensate for, but the pain is all worth it. ;-)

Cool stuff about the concert, and am way stoked about your European Vacation (watch out for those pesky roundabouts)!
And your new camera!
Awesome!

Will be popping into the thread here whenever you have new stuff to show.
:-)

Talking about nerves in your hand doob. I just started having this twitch in my left index finger. It just moves a quarter inch to the right uncontrollably, really freaking me out. I hope it doesn't last forever. Not really had my body do things I didn't want them too before. (at least as far as actions/ non actions) blah blah. Good to see you posting these days.

And good to finally be subbed to your thread duch. I had no idea you started a new one. Was it a secret? lol

Nice guitar.

Unless the twitching is painful or flat-out non-stop for a loong period of time I wouldn't worry too much.
I get that occasionally, too.
Sometimes it's my eyelid.
Little bastard just starts a twitchin' and a twitchin'.
Hardly visible in the mirror, and usually only lasts a few minutes to a half an hour. And it's very infrequent.
But damned annoying while it's happening. ;-)

Well, back to work on my veg station mods, and finishing up with sealing the closet up totally light tight again, but in a much nicer fashion than before.
Will have pics of my new Grow Closet 5000 mk-2.0™ over in the 600 later tonight or tomorrow morning.

Good to see your fresh journal, duchie.
You should have lots to post in the coming weeks & months! :-)

That puts my mind at ease doob. I think I know what the cause is, and I'm going to do something about it. Thanks bud. :)

What if it is very persistent and long lasting? What could that be?

Hey Duchie, I missed this thread somehow.
Sorry for the late sub-up.

I too moved and started over with a new setup and new genetics.

Welcome errb, thanks for popping by. Bass, no worries man, I just leave the link in my sig and whoever wants to pop by can. I heard about your move. How's the new place working out for you guys?

I'm actually backing off a bit here because of the trip coming up. I had a bunch that I was flowering to sex them out and now I'm revegging them. I don't want to leave a whole lot for the Mrs to do other than water for me and I'll pick up from where I left off when I get back. Who knows, after this trip I may have a whole new direction to go.

Doobie, I'm so looking forward to laying down some tracks and sharing them with you guys to mess around with. I'm probably also going to be hitting you up for tips on stuff here. I'm a little green with this stuff still and have lots to learn. I gotta tell ya though, this Squire is really nice to play. Probably the best bass I've owned. Real nice action with that nice thin Jazz bass neck which has a thin satin finish so those sweaty thumbs don't get jammed up on those slides. I don't know how many coffees have gone cold playing her.

I picked up some new gear the other day including a Sunmaster Digi ballast with an air cooled hood, which is a little bigger and heavier than I thought but I think I can make it work. Also, I finally got a T5 fixture w/4x54W bulbs. It is 4' so I will have to modify my cabinet quite a bit. Practically cutting the top third of the cabinet, closing off the open end, then laying it down sideways 90 degrees on top of the bottom half, which will become the base/storage area. T shaped. I hope I described that right. It's be so nice to get rid of the homemade fixtures I've been using, just for the sake of having it a single, clean unit. I'll take some shots of the step by step.

Well, lights on so I'm going to tend to the girls. I'll try to get back with some shots soon.

Oh man, I forgot I took advantage of the $15 upgrade to Windows 8 Pro and forgot. Grabbed some nice shots and can't get them off until I install the Canon software and then Photoshop to size them down. Don't think RIU would appreciate 8-10MB pics being uploaded. So it's be a little later but I will get them up.

Well. In the morning, I'm going to see a man about a dog. Bull Mastiff X French Mastiff to be precise. They will be ready to come home Nov 24th. The day I get back from my trip. I have 5 males to pick from. I'm pretty certain I'll be putting some money down on one of these.
