You must have missed the thread with all of the stupid laws still on the books. We don't really repeal laws we just write new shiny ones and ignore the old ugly ones.

SCOTUS ruled in 2003 that sodomy laws were unconstitutional yet several states still have them on the books. Our constitution also was very specific that the 2nd shall not be infringed. They didn't say it's ok to infringe a little bit for the cheeeldren yet that's exactly what some states are doing.

I refuse to submit to tyrannical idiocy even if it's at the hands of the majority. I will maintain the blueprint of self-governing intended by this wonderful experiment. I promise to let you live your life the way you want and will do no harm if you let me live mine. And remember, we have all of the guns, you should probably leave us alone.
