To me it's like we held first place and maintained it by stepping on other races and now we're like "OK, ok ok ok, we'll make it fair" and the races affected by our stepping are all like "But...now we're so far behind, can't we just..." and we're like "I SAID WE MADE IT FAIR!" That's my mental interpretation. When I've been smoking anyway. (It's my weekend off, i'm going all out on the smoking here...) Yes, it's way easier for black people who aren't in the inner cities to get out of poverty. But it's not easy for the ones who were already in the inner cities when everything started getting "fair" to get out of those inner cities in the first place to even start getting out of the poverty cycle.

My little community is heavy medical so we have a large foreign population here. There are 60 Indian immigrant families that purchased a plot of land and built their own clubhouse with a restaurant, pool, tennis courts etc. A very nice place. Anyone is welcome as long as they are accompanied by one of the family members but can't go on their own. You can't become a member if you are not of Indian descent. I'm cool with this. They are absolutely breaking the civil rights act law but most don't care.
