Cut military spending, increase college spending, same number of opportunities created, better opportunities created, money saved.

No it is not.

The govt should merely protect your liberties and freedoms. Our govt is a LARGE govt, which is too large.
The government doesn't protect liberty. It protects property. I agree the government is too large. You're either arguing pro gov't or against it, which is it? If you're going by the constitution, than yes, the gov't exists to collect taxes and provide for welfare just as it exists to protect property. I don't agree with a gov't that only exists to protect the interests of one class. I don't agree with any gov't, but clearly you do, you are a statist. You are pro-gov't when it protects the interests of one class, but not the other. Don't call yourself a libertarian.

"The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States" Article 1, Section 8. US Constitution.

I've never called myself a libertarian and you are a moron. Don't call yourself educated you illiterate fuck.

Govt does not exist to pay for you to go to college. Get over it

Personally, I would rather see trade schools than colleges. Not everybody is cut out to be a college grad, just like not everybody is cut out to be a tradesman. Right now, America basically does nothing to train people in skilled trades.
Deciphering...

"We need more wage slaves and fewer free, intelligent people, capable of critical thinking."

Show me where in the constitution this is written. At least logically back your position with something other than ad hominem. How is education not welfare?
Education to the point/level of literacy, which they clearly failed in getting you to.
Specialized education is not a societal issue, whereas literacy and basic education is. Everyone should know simple algebra, and everyone should be able to read, pretty damn simple.

If you want to attend a school which separates you from others, especially in terms of financial wealth, you shall take that endeavour on yourself. The govt should not pay for that.

You impugn my literacy but you lack the ability to deliver anything but fallacy. Ad hominem and opinion is all you have.

My goodness you are an idiot dude. I just delivered the killing point that colleges are not created equal, and their personal benefits are not the responsibility of the whole.

You are just an Eutopia, senile, socialist halfwit who thinks that govt was made to control and provide your life. I bet you think the govt should buy you a car too, because you need one to get to work. Don't you abandonconflict? Why stop there bro, the govt should have to buy you a house for you to live as well.

Oh, and I comment on your illiteracy because you go around spewing shit that is a) not true b)idiotic.
Much like when you told me to not call myself a libratarian, which I have never done...

The shit you're talking about only exists in Utopia. We KNOW we can't sustain 300million like that. At least not while at war with half of the rest of the world

The govt should not pay for that.

Don't come back until you learn to argue.

In response to the red, read post #61, my first post in this thread. Clearly you did not read it before you started opining, or you simply don't know how to read.

As for the comment about calling yourself a libertarian, you decried big gov't, yet you clearly support the gov't insofar as it protects the property of the owning class. I never said you called yourself a libertarian, I said don't call yourself one. I actually called you a statist.

You're the illiterate one.

I read it you moron and it would not work. You seem to think that we can create equal college institutions out of thin air, and even more so, enough for EVERYONE... You also seem to think that everyone has the ability to learn at the same level. And even more, you seem to think that we have the resources to educate everyone to a level far beyond what you have obtained. Are you going to pay for my PhD abandon? You can pay my MIT tuition.

Again, all you attempt to articulate is a) retarded b) not true c) both.

Seems like you love big govt, socialist pig, abandon. I would stop telling others that they do.

We do. We spend it on the military. Keep up the ad hominems, I like your disdain.
No. YOU seem to think we do. That is YOUR opinion. Did you not just spend a few posts using pink lettering trying to point out I was asserting opinion, you contradicting, hypocritical buffoon.

Keep the lols coming abandon

You don't agree with gov't, yet you feel it should supply you with education?

70 billion a year.

That is a tenth of the defense budget.

Domestic spending is always an investment, the money stays in the US.

Yes, I prefer this investment over the usury of student loans which in many cases take a lifetime to pay off.
