oh come on, what a bunch of crap. Why would I waste my time with a 400 to 500 viewer website. Get real.

click on the integralhydro link you provided there. Hows that workin for ya. They are/were Botanix, a retailer of nutrients that is OUT OF BUSINESS.

That was just in the whole piece that I copy and pasted... what's your point dude?

Are you saying that the info is not correct? Or, just a side step of facts coming at you?

If it is not correct, I would like to know.

If you/your patients are happy with what your growing its all that matters. Plenty of people grow great ganja with many lines. Some mix lines with other lines who are we to argue with what works for them in their garden.

I run AN and my garden is healthy. I still though try different lines on different plants at times just to see what's what. Gonna try subs supersoil in one more week of it cooking. If the results are there the results are there. Most nute lines I see as a puzzle just have to put the pieces in the right place at the right time.

In the information age... many people choose not to use products reasons for other than how well they work...

example... Many of the good paper towels and TP are made by Kock connected companies.. I don't buy them.

AN seems pretty sketchy to me. Misleading...

I'm sure they probably work well... I've grown awesome plants with dirt from the ground, 20-20-20 miracle grow, and guanu dumped into a hole on a sandbar.
I've never tried a nutrient brand that really treated me terribly. Only poorly balanced and incomplete mixes.

Right now... I'm using H&G.

No side stepping here. Where are the heavy metals in your post:

  • Results of Analysis – Heavy Metals (Big Bud)
    Element
    Lab Method
    Results
Results Submitted to Support Product Registration
    Arsenic (As)
    EPA 3050B, 6010B
    16.2 ppm
    0.8 ppm
    Cadmium (Cd)
    EPA 3050B, 6010B
    < 5 ppm
    < 0.1 ppm
    Mercury (Hg)
    EPA 7471A
    < 0.2 ppm
    < 0.001 ppm
    Lead (Pb)
    EPA 3050B, 6010B
    10.7 ppm
    <0.5 ppm
    Nickel (Ni)
    EPA 3050B, 6010B
    < 5 ppm
    0.6 ppm

Guess what. Those are the resultant Heavy metals for DRY BIG BUD but the label was for LIQUID BIG BUD. If they were indeed humanly dangerous then many more states would have banned it along with the federal govt. For fuck sake. show me a VALID link that AN has dangerous levels of Heavy metals. Thanks for the not link ok?

So... Did AN put the wrong label on or did Oregon Ag fuck up?

I never said anything of DANGEROUS levels.. you asked for the ban link.. i gave it to you.

I figured it was just OR because they are known for that kinda thing.. I'm in a similar city.. banning bottled water and grocery bags..

And! I thought I was gonna get rep for that?

i hear ya completely bro understand where your coming from 100 percent(paper towel stuff) I'm not gonna say AN is the shit or any other brand, I've seen great stuff grown with many things and as far as what's in them goes I'm sure within the progress of medical cannabis we will shed more light on what is good and bad as far as what the nutes contain in them.

I would have already tried AN but no one carries them around here.

Ok so you understand the govt may have ulterior motives, sorry hank. When people use this Oregon reference it just floors me that "ok in this instance the govt is right" mentality. and that it is Gospel. + rep you whore, LOL kidding

So, was it AN using the wrong label or OR using a label liquid label they found mistaking it as the powder label?

WRong label on the package, not a huge deal.. accidents happen.

I think hydro-nute companies might be running into inflated claims problems more than other nute companies.
An EXPLODING industry will bring that kinda thing..
It's not just AN that I have trouble trusting..

But what is their motive? Subcool is the state MJ ambassador? haha.

I mean, if it isn't for real that they have label issues I want to know. But, it see,s like they do have issues with labeling (guaranteed analysis and ads).

That post wasn't only about the metal.. They advertised themselves as OR MMJ Approved because they were registered. Quite a difference.

Were the concentrations for NPK and such also the powder/liquid mixup?

It was by the reported quantities as submitted on the application, not the label itself so it was AN's bad.
I'm with you Hank but people come on like AN is the only scrupulous nute company, where I contend they ALL are. Looking at the disparity between the reported amounts and the tested amounts, it was so skewed that I had to research as to how they do their testing. From that I saw how a powder is going to have nominally, those high levels as reported.

So, there is an explanation beyond the idea of deliberately misleading with the NPK and micros. That's good. It was a mixup, not a case of them not knowing what they are selling or just throwing shit in a bottle and guessing numbers.

Calling it OR approved, technicality really. If AN is using Bigbudmag.com as a regulation free form of advertising then I would say their is some animosity from AN towards regulation. Also, kinda sketchy. I would rather see them just put that effort into backing up their claims.
It's not just nute companies either.. In this MJ world, there are lots of side by sides and posts that make claims with nothing to back it.

I could be wrong about the Bigbudmag.com, but, looks like an AN ad that can sidestep those ad regulations.
That's a whole different discussion though.

I'm not about spreading incorrect info..
Anyways, fun chatting.

Yes they do. You get a 20% discount off all Voodoo, tarantula and pirana bottles so all you have to give is one nut instead of two.

In that link, they link to the article but it does not work... I found it.. But, it is on the same site that I said appears to be a non sale producing site of AN's. So, they can say whatever they want without regulation... hmmm. Apparently Bigbudsmag.com is the same as rosebudmag.com ... strange.

along these lines?
Big Ag industry leaders and state regulators make up the APPFCO?
I could see it.
I'm looking into this a bit. Interested if Big Mike's "getting information to growers" is really giving us accurate labels or the ability to make any claims they want. Supposedly APPFCO will not let hydro nute makers list all of the ingredients as some do not sit on the list of what can be sold as nutrients... Interesting, if it is true.

do you work for AN or something?
Yes I do. I have been working for AN going on 6 years now. I invented all these formulas. My Senior Horticulturalist is known on these forums as "Uncle Ben". With knowledge comes attitude with him, but we're tight.

I am employed , married and own a house. It's a very very very fine house. With 2 cats in the yard. You know life used to be so hard, now every thing is easy because of Advanced Nutrients.

Just a quick notice as well. I firmly believe bigbudsmagazine is indeed some half ass attempt at AN hawking their propaganda. Bunch of misinformation and a raging hard on for fuckin shuckster Big fat Mike.

AN, overpriced low quality ferts. Only newbs with no understanding of botany believe they need "marijuana specific nutes"
