Hey if you like fiddling with dainty glass bulbs every year, go for it. Me, well my lights can take a fall onto concrete and keep chugging.(tested that already). a light dusting once a month is the only servicing they need for the next decade. Oh and using less power is nice too.

Well that's not strictly true. @ttystikk could always add a second set of the 72v chips. Four cobs wired in series, two sets of cobs wired in parallel for ~350ma per string. @MrFlux did something similar with vero 10's some time ago. Not an endorsed configuration, but certainly possible.

Just wanted to double check. In round 6 we just posted a picture of a sprouted plant.

Frankly, 'fabric thickness' doesn't grow the plant.... $250-275 is still double the price of the cheap tents. The cheap tents have all the same features, sans the thicker material.

A 4x8 apollo horticulture tent is $163.... The sun fortress at $494 is 3 times the price...... That's the rub.

So with the rule change, do we have to have a sprout before the deadline?

What led you to those decisions? What effects do you tend to see?

Transformers finally in. Just got to prep the seeds and pots. I'm glad CMH bulbs don't have a shelf life, I've had this thing for 2 years now :P

Right atm I have aviditi, apollo, and gorilla. The two cheap ones are great.
