Just looked like the bulb was right on it to me. My plants usually have pretty alive looking leaves until i kill them myself, If that was the only food you were giving her it might be worth trying something with a bit of N and a bit less P next round.

The first thing I want to ask is are the bulbs as close to the plant as they look, or is it the camera angle? If you're not cooking it with heat, what are you feeding it?

I hope you mean 'algae' or you can ignore my reply. algae absolutely needs light to survive. If it's in your res, it's getting light. The spray paint that is labeled for plastic doesn't scrape off as fast i have found.

The leaves could be yellowing either because the plant is getting too much or too little nutrients. Pics would be more helpful, but if you don't think you are overfeeding them, you may not be, it's not uncommon for a plant to take back some leaves if it is hungry.

Hard to say. could be a pollen sac, but it kinda looks like a squashed calyx. I'd just keep watching.

9,11,13, if the plant is getting enough light to use leaves with that many fingers, then it will make them. This is normal, and if anything it's a sign of a healthy plant.

Springtails 'hop' on the top of your water. If they look like they are bouncing all around, like little popcorns then they are springtails. They will do no harm.

I use carbon filters on my boxes, and when I come home you can't smell a thing right up to my plants. But when I open the doors to check them daily, the smell pretty much instantly flows thru the house. Even if you can hide it, you can't hide it 100% of the time.

Some plants are stinkier than others. Carbon works, ONA works to a degree.

My vote goes to bending. If you don't kink the stem, you can bend her around any which way you want for however many tops you want and she will not need any time to heal. Unless you just have too much plant for the space you'll be flowering in, bending is much faster for same results.

Be prepared to cringe at the cost vs. a comparable output hps. I like them since I grow in boxes and they let me work with extremely limited vertical space, but they aren't very cheap.

I doubt the kit would come with a ballast that will drive a 600w bulb. more likely the ballast will only run something 150 or smaller.
