    Norther lights

Northern lights. I've grown northern lights and have noticed some come out with fat indica leaves like yours, some come out thinner. It's really strange. You look online at other northern lights examples and some look a bit different too. Being indica. I noticed the fatter leafed plants don't...

    spider mite solution

Azamax for a minor problem Permethrin bomb for infestation. Before anyone says otherwise. Permethrin is safe and approved for food, humans (its actually applied all over your body if you had scabies), pets depending on use. However it's not safe for fis lol

    Large veg/room set up help

I'm from downunder, our summers are the same. I'm running similar 7k in one of my setups. You definitely need an evaporative as your intake! I don't even use refridgerated. If the day is dry and 40. The unit below puts it down to 30! However if it's humid I'm screwed. But my plants have never...

    Cloning an old seed

I've actually taken a clone from a 1ft plant, (in a 13 gallon pot) and put it STRAIGHT into a 13 gallon pot (all coco) In the end, the original plant ended up as a 5x5 size scrog, the clone 4x4 ! So it wasn't that far off..

    New large grow.

I should add, using this much power, Its actually EXTREMELY important that the connections are all perfect. I've had a 6mm2 cable (7 stranded) run loaded with about 29a. The electrician somehow managed to break 1 of the 7 strands before screwing it into the breaker. Slowly the breaker must have...

    New large grow.

20ft is nothing! but yes! definitely use the larger option. In case you want to add a heater or even more lights as that timer is capable of up to 8000w! Overkill/overengineered/redundancy is always best! I'm using a 7AWG (10mm2 actually in metric) with a 65ft run (above insulation) to a 7400w...

    New large grow.

First of all, never listen to what people recommend for power because you HAVEN'T detailed on how/where/ it will be installed. I see that unit is rated at 8000w! its 8Awg ( 8.36mm2) in 240v that is 33.3a ! If you're running 6000w @ 240v thats 25a being used! However, consider inefficiencies...

    Advice on cutting fan leafs

Not to get into wavelengths, but you should read about auxins which seem to be what determines the growth you're describing. Which I'll reference below. Even if you've pruned a leaf for a bud underneath, it might not make a huge difference as one might think. Sure it'll mature, but it seems...

    Root rot?

I heard from the pros to think about how much air you need and then double it. Lol

    Root bound??

Hi. Is that coco?if so it's definitely not root bound. Without knowing much info about your grow, your climate right but is your ventilation right? Runoff right? Impossible for us to tell at this stage.

Brown roots/root rot? After adding great white.

Is called root staining, some additives can cause this. I wouldn't be worried unless it's slimy and stinky. If you don't like it, you can always try find alternatives of the product to use. Sometimes that can be a bit difficult too though.

    Root rot?

Hydrogen peroxide Here's a link to the product i use. If you use beneficial bacteria it'll kill it all. But since you have problems, I'd recommend you use it throughout your entire grow and skip the bennies if you do. It'll turn your skin white, so be careful if you do...

    Root rot?

I'd definitely be concerned if I saw that. I would run h2o2!

    Humidity 95% in flower stage

Are you sure the meter is correct? You can definitely feel 95% humidity in an indoor grow room as it's always a bit warm. I run high humidity but not 95% high. Do you run ventilation? Because if you got no ventilation with a lot of veg mass then the room will hit 95% in no time. You might...

Some type of problem, coco coir

You haven't stated your room climate. If you havent already, I'd suggest giving these plants high 25-29c with 70+ humidity. Someone suggested mg/ca Slow transpiration rates could also lead tocal defiicnecy. Poor ventilation or too much cal can lead to mg deficiency. I'd look at my environment...

    Cut hole in fabric pot?

I grow many types of plants not just c.. and I've found allowing the roots to grow out of the drain holes into the ground (soil) is quite beneificial. Also if i ever need to move the pot then i can just cut it without harming the plant too.

    Coco Coir yellow leaves

Might be a long shot here but I have this 1 strain that likes high 20's (celcius) and decent humidity. It exhibited almost the same symtoms as yours in cold weather with bright LED's until i put a heater in the room.

    New large grow.

To get an idea. I'm using 6000-7000w and pulling 20+ every cycle with 4 cycles a year for 80?+. Works out to be able 1. 4-1.6 grams per watt. You do however need a stretchy strain if you want to keep plant numbers low. Let it stretch out veg to fill your area, scrog it so each node acts like its...
