    My first whole room SCRoG

Great grow buddy. But I wouldn't call that a scrog, more of a skeletal support net. It's basically a lollipop with support. You have probably realised by now how much growth you've wasted on the bottom by trimming. Now imagine you utilised it all? Wouldn't that save a bit of veg time? The...

Canopy too thick? Does anyone defoliate through stretch?

Hard to tell in this photo but this was the result of me continuing to defoliate. Look how many heads there are compared to some other grows. If you don't have much heads being covered, then I guess it won't make too much of a diff.

How to clone and get roots like this?

It was originally double the height. And I chopped it in half. 4 inch rule is referenced below by dr Carl Whitcomb Reference : I never start clones in solid pots as the girdling roots can cause strangulation depending on how big you grow your plant. If you do repot girdled roots, you should...

How to clone and get roots like this?

Some pHD professor guy on YouTube recommended 4 inch for the best lateral outward root growth Because of this, I start my clones in a 4 inch wide and deep airpot straight into coco! The roots are amazing sideways and on bottom. Anyway, i recently came across a situation when i had to make...

Canopy too thick? Does anyone defoliate through stretch?

Yea defintely defoliate. Mine is about as thick if not thicker. There'll be a lot of nay sayers who tell you not to defoliate. But when you look at their grows,. They haven't even utilised the full canopy and their canopy isn't as dense. When removing a fat leaf exposes a new nug or two...

Does anyone have any info or experience with this unit.

I'm running.. 6K watts of cree cxb3590's 7k watts of lm301 Quantum boards 6k watts of 1.1m hard lm301 bars 320watts of nichia sticks 1kw of lm361 quantum boards. I've found the cree cxbs are the heaviest but if you set them into bars, they're actually good if you have an uneven canopy allowing...

6 1/2 Weeks into Flowering Problem!!

Looks like too much nitrogen during flower as your leaves are quite dark at this stage still and clawing downwards. Usually during late flower it's normal for the bottom leaves to turn yellow first not the middle leaves such as yours.

Proof of stomata closing at the end of each day.

Never issues with rot. I even spray during lights on with the leaves soaking wet without issues as they dry off in less than an hour ( good airflow) When i get mites, they used to get out of control, but with high humidity they're slowed down a lot. My roots never looked better. I always aim...

Proof of stomata closing at the end of each day.

This room ends with all green leaves and good yields and goes for a premium in my area. Have been doing it for years...

    High humidity

I made another post with more references pointing in the direction of high humidity if you're at all curious. It will also answer your question in some of the references. "With less moisture in the air, the already overtaxed plant creates more issues. The good news is that constantly high...

Proof of stomata closing at the end of each day.

Hi guys, I run high humidity, but mainly because i can't help it (the high RH is caused by the plants). I'd like to make one thing clear, some of the VPD optimal zones with temperatures 78-89 show best humidity in the 75%-85% area. Reference...

    High humidity

I hear you out, and at first it was what i thought too. But the thing is, plants thrive in humidity, and had to adapt to dry climates. Here's a quote with referenced source linked. ". A dry environment will simply pull more transpiration out of the plant itself, drawn up through the roots. If...

    High humidity

I grow and flower in 70-80% humidity with prefectly healthy plants. As long as you got good ventilation and airflow. You won't have problems. People worry about budrot etc. That occurs more if you got water from dew that isn't able to dry out, or extreme difference in temperatures from...

Craziest 14 day stretch! What's yours?.

First day of 12/12 and 20 days later.

    Is this bud rot?

Most of my budrot in the past was because of root rot. If your environment is perfect, I'd suspect the root zone. I flower in 80%humidity all the time with good airflow and I spray even during lights on without any detrimental affects. In saying this, I've also noticed in the past some strains...

    New large grow.

I have a grow in about the same space. I get 4 per year. But if you have a seperate veg area, you can defintely pull 5-6 per year if you're fast at cleaning and have a seperate drying area. I've managed #19-21 ranging from 12 plants to 16. No Refrigerated AC here either. I use evaporative and...

    Nutrient or light burn?

If it looks extremely bright on the leaves that burned. Then it's more than likely light bleach.

    Spider mites

In saying what Don't discard neem from what I wrote earlier. I still use it with great success. When mixed with soap, it even kills my flying fungus gnats on contact because the soap makes their wings stick and the water stick on their body drowning then pretty much.

Can’t figure out what’s going on here, rest of the plant and other plants look fine.

Even though i use COCO which has EXCELLENT drainage, i still use this product once during every grow. It works on soil and supposedly lasts 8 weeks. https://fernland.com.au/907g-banrot-400wp-fungicide.html

Can’t figure out what’s going on here, rest of the plant and other plants look fine.

Root rot happens with overwatered soil. If part of the soil don't dry out, the roots in those areas won't get any oxygen and begin to decay. It might be just a section of your roots which is causing a section of your plant suffer like that. Root rot spreads, so if it is, that might eventually...
