    Top dressing?

I usually top dress with straight worm castings and call it a day. My girls always love it. If your worried about nutes, I would definitely stick with guanos. Just be sure to use a 1-2 (N-P) ratio to keep an optimal nute balance for the flowering stage. EDIT: As far as how much of the stuff...

Do feminized clones take longer to root?

I have never had a problem rooting FEM cuttings. All 3 of my current mothers are FEM and they all show roots in about 5-7 days and by day 10 they are planted. I use a DIY cloner very similar to the EZ-cloner you can buy off the shelf.

    Cannabis seedling problems

Honestly, they look fine. Cotyledons, the embryonic leaves attached to the seedling, are always all over the place for me. In 2 days I'm sure some of the leaves will get long and stretch while others barely grow. Both are fine in my experience. As long as the true leaves develop at a reasonable...

    Soil?

I personally use either Roots Organic or FFHF and amend the heck out of it with organic dry fertilizers. I never measure anything, just go by eye. My plants are always lush green right up until the last 20 days of flower. When I use FFHF I have to amend just a little more because its a...

    What is your favorite strain?

I am very picky about what strains I let into my grow op. I look for potency, smell, yield, taste, and fast/strong vegetitative growth with a relatively quick flowering times (8-9 weeks). All of the below passed scrutiny and I recommend any of the 8 strains below to both beginners and...

    FAST Flowering question

If your referring to the FAST version of plants that are known for their 45 days flower times like Caramelo F1 or the others, the answer is yes.

    Black patchy spots. Calcium def?

They definitely don't look N deficient. Honestly looks like over water. Do you have a schedule or do you do the finger test and water when dry?

Is my plant female or male? Please help

you can usually expect preflowers between 50 to 56 days (7-8 weeks) from seed depending on your genetics (at least in my personal experience). By then you should know if its female and be able to move it in. I notived in your pics you had recently topped your plants. Those nodes will have to...

    Critical kush (barneys farm)

This thread hit the front page so I thought I'd share my success with this strain. 4 plants Produced 12oz 6g under a 600w in a 4x4 tent. I got one of the rarer phenos that changes all sorts of color. Unfortunately, I didn't take clones of this one. Great smoke, easy to grow, recommend to all.

Is my plant female or male? Please help

Gonna have to wait longer I'm afraid. How old is the plant now?

    Confirm this is nute burn?

Do you have any way to post a picture? They really do speak 1,000 words. Few people say FFOF is a little hot for smaller plants, but cutting it with that much perlite should be fine. When were they planted? EDIT: Never mind, saw the link above. I don't personally think it's nute burn. Usually...

    Soil Mix/Nutes

Your plants will almost certainly need more nutrients. I've never bought a premix that could feed for an entire grow. I would highly recommend looking into some kind of fertilizer. If you decide to go for dry fertilizers over a liquid, you'll have to add it early to get the full effect. Never...

Mineralz, what sort of medium are you using in that terrarium? I'd kinda like to set something similar up myself.

    Deficiency Identification help

I'm thinking it's gotta be a magnesium deficiency as well. Since magnesium isn't mobile, that could explain why its happening to the upper parts of the plant. It could also be Manganese, and i highly doubt it's something like zinc or copper because those deficiencies have more yellowing.

    lead in water in flint?

Found this online. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21541849 According to the National Center for Biotechnology Information, lead tends to accumulate in the roots of the plant. However excessive lead can leach its way into the plant tissue. By the time this happens tho, the plant will exhibit...
