if I wanted to whack this in as supplementary lighting during flowering (it's too hot for both my hps in the tent now) a. is it worth it and b. how far away should it be from the plants?!

Temps are high, 25-30. The humidity is tricky to control too, but I've kinda got it as good as I can, goes between 40-60 now. It's meant to get really hot soon so I'm going to have to change the 250W for the LED I think. That should hopefully keep things manageable. Good to know that...

Thanks guys, good to know it's not some kind of Pavlovian response from my nose and brain haha! Turns out these plant things are pretty clever, I'm impressed. They deffo have more brains than some people I know. :)

Is it my imagination or does the smell increase about 40 mins before the lights come on?

Sorry to hijack slightly dadinhales :) I've got one fan about 10" about canopy level pointing across the tent, when it's hot I put another one outside blowing cooler air in with the door slightly open. The second fan I have is way too powerful for inside the tent even on the lowest setting...

Well I don't think the leaf damage has got any worse since the flush, so that's hopeful. Will try to get some more photos at lights on.

This is really interesting, must play around with fan position later to see what happens to the temp.

Looking good, not sure about pure coco, I've got loads of pearlite in mine to help drainage. Plenty of people go 12/12 from seed (see the journals on here) but I think it's advised to veg for a few weeks. Really depends how big you want your plants to get and how much space you have. Patience...

Argh!! Just noticed 2 of the plants have browning on some of the leaves by the buds... I hope it’s just nutrient related and have just flushed them both, what do you guys think??

Don't suppose you know where their chart is I had a quick search around but couldn't find it. I'm already totally sold on LED, but I just need to find 500 notes to continue. I really suspect the heat from the HPS will be helpful in the winter, so I'd probably only get 1 grow from LED before...
