Quarts and grams? Your recipe amounts are hard to follow.

Need advice from growers yielding .75g+ per watt in organics

Could you tell us about how much or how how far you dim your lights?

    Reammend ffof or start clean?

You're just trippin'! Reammend. I think your plan for fresh compost, more aeration + neem/crab/kelp will work well. During your 2nd run keep a look out for calcium deficiency (small, round brown spots on leaves) and magnesium deficiency (yellowing between the veins of your leaves) and think...

    Help! 400$ for grow light

I agree with Joe and Freak, get a Dimmable 1000 watt hps/mh ballast with an air cooled hood plus a 600 watt hps bulb. And a carbon filter, an inline fan to handle air exchange and smell. You should be able to get all that from Ama-zon for your $400. Adjust the dimmable ballast down to 600...

When's the Right Time to Top-Dress?

The right time to top dress is a week or two before you need it! My soil is pretty much Coot's Mix + some fish bone meal. I was consistently getting yellowing starting in the fourth week of flowering. Now I top dress with an All In One Bloom mix (like Joe Blow) during the 2nd week of flower...

    Organic Soil Grow

That's what people did for a long time until just recently when coco became super trendy and popular.

    Organic super soil, deficiency issue?

I guess you'll be able to do that. No till guys do something like that, right? For me it's just easier to get consistent results by reamending and remixing between grows. I use like 25-50% of the amounts I used to initially make the mix. Except for minerals, I might go 2-3 cycles before I...

    New grow problem

Stop with the RO water. It causes problems for lots of soil growers. I know you're probably just trying to protect your microbes, but I think the RO water is doing more harm than good. Plants use the Calcium and Magnesium that's in regular water. They miss it when you use RO water. I think...

    Organic super soil, deficiency issue?

I totally agree about plants using less nitrogen in this stage. The compost tea you're brewing won't hurt, it will probably get some microbe activity going, that'susually good. But compost tea doesn't have a lot of nutrients, and I believe that's what your plants are hungry for now. I...

    Organic super soil, deficiency issue?

Your soil recipe looks good and your plants look bushy and strong. Big, healthy plants can easily suck all the nutrients out of the soil.. My soil mix is pretty similar to yours, and I get the same issues half way through flower. Personally I would be more worried about Phosphorus (general...

OVER POTTING PLANTS- Dont do it

I grow in soil with convential (photoperiod?) "regular" clones. I like to start rooted cuttings from the clone machine or peat pellets in One gallon pots. They stay in there for 2-3 weeks. This is enough time for the roots to fill the pot and make a nice root ball, so all the soil and roots...

    Hand feed vs hydro

It sounds like you did a great job. I wouldn't mess around trying to make too many changes after results like that.

    Hand feed vs hydro

How big was the tent? How high did your temperatures get in there? How many plants did you have in there? Like how many were under 600 watt light? 2.5 oz per plants isn't great if you had 6 plants. But if you had 18 plants, that's a pretty nice grow.

    Wire Training Tip For LST

I think that's legit! Easier to ove and adjust than strings or long twist ties. It's especially cool that you can bend the wire and it's stiff enough to hold the branch out train the branch twice. What gauge wire are you using? Nice bump, I would have totally missed a good idea.

    Reusing organic soil???

I agree, no need for fresh soil. I've been reamending and reusing for years. And there probably isn't a huge difference between using a good soil for your base vs building your own (unless you're a die hard DIY guy, or usings tons of dirt). Roots Organic is good stuff with good ingredients...
