I'm not critiquing your grow, but those buds look small and as if they haven't plumped up yet. I also see a lot of white pistils. Perhaps it still has a while to go.
I also think your plant is very healthy for the end of it's life. Normally at least the fan leaves will have died as it nears...
It takes what seems like forever. Lighting helps though. 4 months will never pass so slowly.
Are you saying that you have those cups in a tray with water in it? That might work, but I wouldn't leave them in water like that. It's a good thing that the soil drys every now and then. Think of...
Dang. There are bigger peat pots that fit perfectly well in my small 6" pots which I start my plants in. I used to use both together all the time with my vegetables grows. I'd start them inside to get a head start on planting them outside.
I never even thought of doing that with these plants.
Few people say it's easy to grow this plant. But it doesn't have to be rocket science either.
1) Up to you. Pick something that sounds interesting.
2) Yes, more than likely. There are strains that don't smell much at all. There are others you can smell down the block. Do some reading and...
We each have our own preferences, and I know you do very well.
I start my plants in regular old potting soil in a 6 inch pot. At the same time they are ready for their final pot-up, I use FFOF and watch them closely for the next couple of watering. This works for me because then I just need...
Oh, and FFOF is some really great stuff. Since your plant is so big, it would have needed to add nutrients at some point anyway. Was she showing signs of starving? Or was this love. You can still save her but it might be a bit of work with your setup.
IMO, they won't care about how close they are. What will matter is the amount of light they get, and the light they block out from others. That's hard to measure. If it'll let you sleep better, can you add a bit more light? A little bit?
