Ebb and flow hydroton. Going from veg to flower

No need for cleaning in any way. You are overthinking :) What you can also do (if you are afraid of the transition) is give your plants a mix of veg and bloom for a week. Many of the charts of nute manufacturers also recommend this.

Who runs Bloom temps over 79F regularly?

Ambient temperature by itself does not say everything. You have to look also at leaf temperature and at RV. This will give you your VPD, and if this is in order there is a really wide range with 'optimal' temperatures. What do you mean with DO here?

Water usage per 4 x 4 per day. How much?

So that is about 7 liters (or little less then 2 gallons) per day. Curious what they will do at their peak. Thanks!

Control odor & sterilize your room air + surfaces 24/7 + eliminate PM

You always had your RV on the safe side because of fear of Botrytis. Will you run a higher RV/lower VPD now that you have the AirRos?

Water usage per 4 x 4 per day. How much?

If you would compare this to a 4 x 4 then it would be 40 liter x 1.44 = almost 58 liter. 58 liter divided by 7 days = around 8.3 liters per day. 2.2 gallons per day.

    Fresh air intake needed?

1200 ppm is not dangerous at all. It is very common in schoolclasses for example. But a funny thing will happen when you will be in the room for several hours. Because humans exhale CO2, you will see the CO2 level on your meter rise to above 3000 perhaps. I doubt that you room will be sealed...

It certainly does, Willie. Too bad you had to get rid of 1 plant.

    WillieP's World

I was always under the impression that the water pressure is big enough to prevent roots growing into the filling port. But apparently not. Or did something else cause it? Question How many gallons did your plants use per day when they were both at their peak?

Moving to a new Nutrient (Hydro)

ppm is old world and non-scientific indeed.

    CO2 experts... what say you?

really? Do you have a link? Edit: I think I misunderstood you. You probably mean a calculator that tells you how much bottled CO2 for example you need for a room of a certain cubic feet if you want to maintain 800 ppm?

First time trying a 3000w LED

I guess if there is no dimming, you could also hang them a bit higher and loose some light on the walls of the tent. Concerning what to do with the plants... no idea.

    Res/Nutes Change Frequency

Manufacturers also advice to add x ml to a liter, but we all know it is often only half of that :) So perhaps they advice to change after 1o days is because they want to sell more nutes.. With the ph - and + you might have a valid point. I think that with DTW you could more easily test if your...

First time trying a 3000w LED

With surface I meant: Is it on a 3 x 3 or 4 x 4 or what. I am not an exert on Led but often those kind of lamps give a wattage that is not what they consume. the manufacturers want to pretend that it is equal to a traditional light like HPS of a certain wattage. But even then... 3000 is outreagous.

    Res/Nutes Change Frequency

Is this because the nutes can go bad? If so, do you think all brands have this 'problem'?

    Fresh air intake needed?

You are right. Sometimes you add something to your room like sulfer or a pesticide or a cleaning chemical for example that venting afterwards is required. I think to have an exhaust fan available - even if you grow in circumstances where you don't have to be afraid of smell escaping - is always...

    Fresh air intake needed?

I am not talking about venting. I am talking about creating under pressure to prevent smell to escape. That you use an exhaust fan for that, is right. I know how plants work and I know how they exchange gasses. But they are irrelevant for this discussion. The fact that plants uptake O2 and...

    Fresh air intake needed?

Kratky does work. But it has also to do with getting a lower level of water as well. My reaction was more that the remark your friend made is so useless. Of course in general it is the case that when there is enough O2 for a person, there will also be enough for a plant.
