Water usage per 4 x 4 per day. How much?

I'm trying to research a little bit how much water your plants consume per day per 4 x 4. I'm doing some calculations for reservoirs and for a dehumidifier. So I am very curious about the experiences of growers here of how much water is consumed when the plants are at their peak of evaporation.

I don't have a laboratory and I am not a chemist. But my guess is, that it must be not that hard to find out what it is. I wonder if someone who works in a simple laboratory could determine it.

What really pisses me off about the Torus system is the ridiculously high price for the recharge liquid. They don't tell you what it is, of course. But it's something you can probably just buy at Wallmart or Home Depot and then dilute. Hydrochloric acid or something similar. Diluted pH - also...

Still no independent review of the GeekBeast Pro???

As I understand it is all about the amount of umol/m2/s. 1000-1200 (without using CO2) is about the max. What will it be with this lamp when it is not dimmed?

Did you have the 'normal' capsule, or the inline filter one?

I have lost a lot of cuts in my bubble cloner. 84 F water temp. Any advice?

They call that 'coincidence'. Slime can appear because of many reasons. It does not always have to be light. Although light will speed it up.

    High Voltage Aeroponics

I understand that you are defending your business and your passion. But that doesn't make your story more true. All these vertical gardens and city gardens will be not more then gimmicks for the next 10 years. It is is nice to grow lettuce and herbs that way for sure. And transportation costs...

Strange pH problem in flowering stage, changing to tap water from RO

Do you calibrate them? If you do and 1 is still giving weird number, then throw it in the bin. If you calibrate in 4.0 fluid for example and it shows a different number after you put in the 4.0 fluid an hour later, it is useless.

I have lost a lot of cuts in my bubble cloner. 84 F water temp. Any advice?

I think (but I have no proof for it) that the lack of oxygen is the reason. The high temperature in your res is no providing too much O2. That, and the high temperature of the water itself, are imo not ideal. Most plants (including most strains of cannabis) like 20-25 C. If you would build a...

    High Voltage Aeroponics

The most high tech greenhouses are located in the region where I live. They collaborate with the Nr. 1 agricultural university in the world. How many of these growers do you think use Aeroponics? 0.0001% maybe. And that is an optimistic number and it will only apply to special plants like...

And this wasn't even his biggest room .... He always had very good yields. Also very constant. For years. But this was mainly because he had his climate perfectly in order. You can buy the very best nutes, but if your plants do not or poorly absorb it, you throw away money. And he only used...

I don't know. I just copied the numbers from some forum in the Netherlands. For me it is all way to difficult.\ I just wanted to give some information they you smart guys might like. Again... no clue :) I do know that a lot of guys buy the Brown. What I noticed is that there are no 'ideal' NPK...

It does not reduce it. It are relative proportions between N, P and K in a single solution You can also multiply the number of N in the bloom part (4) by 1.75. Then this number becomes 7 as well. Then you also multiply K (3) by 1.75 as well. It gives 5.25 and then K (11) multiplied by 1.75...

Most cannabis growers use Yara Calcinit and Yara Brown. And then 1 part Calcinit to 1 part Brown in grow (this gives apparantly an NPK of 7-4-14) And in bloom 1 part Calcinit to 1.5 parts Brown (4-3-11)

I totally agree that this concept works. I was made aware of it by the site of Dr. Daniel Fernandez. He did not talk about the Torus at that time, but about the use of the resins, especially Amberlite CG50. There is enough scientific supports for this. What I was wondering, though, is...

Round 2! HLG Saber vs Amare SB800 RDWC

@Mikenike In one of your previous grow journals you mentioned that you were gonna use the Torus Hydro PerfectPH. I have never read any follow ups and whether you were satisfied with it. And in this grow report I don't see anything about the Torus anymore. What happened?

Do you have knowledge about what product replaced Amberlite CG50? The post by Dr. Daniel Fernandez is about 10 years old, so I assume they came up with a new product. Perhaps even cheaper.
