I'm trying to research a little bit how much water your plants consume per day per 4 x 4. I'm doing some calculations for reservoirs and for a dehumidifier. So I am very curious about the experiences of growers here of how much water is consumed when the plants are at their peak of evaporation.

I don't have a laboratory and I am not a chemist. But my guess is, that it must be not that hard to find out what it is. I wonder if someone who works in a simple laboratory could determine it.

What really pisses me off about the Torus system is the ridiculously high price for the recharge liquid. They don't tell you what it is, of course. But it's something you can probably just buy at Wallmart or Home Depot and then dilute. Hydrochloric acid or something similar. Diluted pH - also...

As I understand it is all about the amount of umol/m2/s. 1000-1200 (without using CO2) is about the max. What will it be with this lamp when it is not dimmed?

Did you have the 'normal' capsule, or the inline filter one?

Do you calibrate them? If you do and 1 is still giving weird number, then throw it in the bin. If you calibrate in 4.0 fluid for example and it shows a different number after you put in the 4.0 fluid an hour later, it is useless.

It does not reduce it. It are relative proportions between N, P and K in a single solution You can also multiply the number of N in the bloom part (4) by 1.75. Then this number becomes 7 as well. Then you also multiply K (3) by 1.75 as well. It gives 5.25 and then K (11) multiplied by 1.75...

Most cannabis growers use Yara Calcinit and Yara Brown. And then 1 part Calcinit to 1 part Brown in grow (this gives apparantly an NPK of 7-4-14) And in bloom 1 part Calcinit to 1.5 parts Brown (4-3-11)

@Mikenike In one of your previous grow journals you mentioned that you were gonna use the Torus Hydro PerfectPH. I have never read any follow ups and whether you were satisfied with it. And in this grow report I don't see anything about the Torus anymore. What happened?

Could you please explain what you mean with this? I know it is an old topic. Are you still using it? There are not that many reviews about it.

Do you have knowledge about what product replaced Amberlite CG50? The post by Dr. Daniel Fernandez is about 10 years old, so I assume they came up with a new product. Perhaps even cheaper.

All those specs and numbers and parts.... Too difficult for me. That is why I am happy with the forum!
