Just wanted to mention to you, since it wasn't brought up: whatever light you grow with, watts are not what matters in relation to growing. Lumens are what matters. You want a minimum of 3000 lumens per square foot to grow, 5000 lumens per square foot recommended.:peace:

Kinda depends on what method you plan on doing. Some ways of making hash recommend you dry out the trim first, others (like the Gumby method) say you can put them right in the freezer overnight (or until you're ready) to make hash.

A cheap alternative to tinfoil would be an emergency blanket, $3 at Walmart in the camping section. You won't see preflowers for awhile. Depends on how long you veg for - around two months or so if you veg that long, otherwise, sex will show roughly a wek into 12/12. Good luck!

You're going to have to rethink your exhaust options - a 400w in that small of a space will not allow you to just leave the door shut (or even cracked) - it'll get too hot in there.

Yes you can have heat problems with CFL's. I have to leave the door open for my veg closet, with the door shut the temps shoot to almost 100F within ten minutes. Put the fan back on - if you need higher humidity, try putting a bucket of water in there, or hang some damp towels.

I've quick dried on my coffee pot's hotplate with decent results. Cut it up small, put it on a saucer on the hotplate, gently turn every five minutes.
