Unless your tap water is really bad, no problem.

Water does not need to touch the netpot. That's what the bubbles are for. If you have adequate bubble action, you set the water level for where it splashes up on the sides of the netpot. You can lower that level later if you want, but there's no real reason for it.

This is very strain dependent. I find my plants and yield are the same whether I veg 2 weeks or 4.

The drip is a gimmick. Seedlings are fed just fine in real bubbleponics by the splashing action of the bubbles. Forget the drip, get the bubbles right.

There is no min height but a 3 gal bucket will only hold maybe 2 gal of water. Def have one plant in one container - it allows you to move them and raise them to different heights. I have great success with Humboldt Master A&B ps you can calibrate just fine with distilled or ro water which is 7.0

I'm not a soil grower so can't help much. I can tell you that I would put that to 12/12 now, because in my experience NL really takes off in flower. Plants that I've flowered at that size in dwc have grown to 3 1/2 feet.

If you had to go with one the whole way it would be hps. Ideally, Halide for veg and switch to hps when you go to 12/12 lighting.

I didn't know anything about them, now I do. Update: they tell me they couldn't possibly match that item, they pay more than that for it. But that's not the point. No-one is saying they should lose money. Just be responsible for your own errors and be greatful instead of punitive to a customer...

The key to this is that it doesn't matter if they get too many hrs of light, but they need 12 hrs of dark. So when something like this happens you first give them 12 hrs of dark then gradually get back on time schedule by adjusting light periods not dark periods.

I don't think it will help lower branches get more light, but cutting some lower stuff does redirect energy to the tops. That's the basis of lollipopping.
