I don't know the answer to your strain question, but for the other - it sounds like they were kept too wet. Too much water while germinating will rot/kill the taproot.:peace:

You can start them in 12/12, but it will reduce your yield. It's better to veg for awhile first.:peace:

Typically it isn't going to show sex one month under vegging lights. If you're worried about space, put it into flower. Depending on how mature the plant is, and the lights you are useing, it will show sex anywhere from the first day to two weeks in. :peace:

If you put a 400w lamp in with the 1000w ballast, you'll get 1000w in your lamp. Not a good thing. The reason HPS/MH lamps need a ballast in the first place is because these lamps do not regulate the amount of current coming through them - the more they are given, the more they will take. :peace:

There are so many different factors involved, there's no sure way to estimate "you will get X amount". Your plants look great though!:peace:

I did this to my plants on Monday, just in four days you can see the four new tops already. I highly recomend it.:mrgreen:

Not a lot of space there - you may want to do some LST (lots of great threads on this, do a search on the forum), let her veg for a week after that, then throw it into flower.:peace:

One thing I've noticed with my own plants, is once you've damaged them with nutes, (and sometimes deficiencies), the damage doesn't go away. What I mean is you can correct the problem, stop further damage from happening, and new growth will be normal - but the leaves already damaged will stay...
