Ok, well it rains alot in the uk, if i collected a bucket full and put it in my growroom does it matter at all if the water has been stood for a while or would i need to renew it

yep done that, it did make the dile go into the acidic side but gradualy climbed back up to 7, in pure vinegar it should go to the very bottom of the scale right?

Yup i think my tap water did it, not using nutes as yet. got a ph tester today from ebay but didnt work so waiting on a replacment, think i might use bottled water untill it comes or how about using rain water that has run off my shed roof into a storage container, would that be any good? and...

Quite hard to take pics of my set up as its in a small room under the stairs, but here it is. I dont think it lets that much light in as the back end of my dark stage is very early morning

What about very minor amounts of daylight coming in through small gaps in the door, whilst my plant is at the back end of its dark period, also is this a problem whilst vegging or just flowering?

nope if i shake it slightly the dile goes from 1 side to the other, its only slightly bent/curved but its got to be broke if its reading 7.5 in vinigar surely lol, thanks for help anyway, its going back to the ebay seller

Yup must be bust the dile does move once emersed in fluid but goes to 7.5 for everthing, tap water, rain water, vinegar. i got it off ebay but when it came the probe was slightly bent maybe this is the fault?

Ok sorry to be a pest but my plant has a few probs and people have said its a ph problem, i just got this ph tester today and am not sure if its working, ive put in a bottle of vinigar and its reading 8, surely if its in pure vinigar it should be reading an high acidic reading ? anyone can help...

To be honest i just got this ph tester today and maybe im doing something wrong ive tryed it in my pot out side in the garden and the reading hardly moves

if i have used the new ph tester correctly my soil is 7.1 and my tap water 7.5 good or bad? prob used it wrong
