Fuck it im gonna get bashed anywhere so post here

My dog has epileptic seizures. She is a 2 year old boston terrier. She got one about every six months but a couple weeks ago she had about 7 in a row and I thought she was going to die and the vets said she would probably have brain damage if she came out. Well she did and didn't have an...

    Testing

I have been considering getting a brix refractometer to check the brix of my plants. I know it won't tell me the thc content but it should tell me the overall health of the plant and I might get my soil tested to see if its lacking anything. High brix gardening has been around for awhile but...

    anyone use straight compost ?

I reuse my soil and add compost after each use so after 3 years of doing this my mix is probably mostly compost but its probably leached of most things by the time I add more and I add things to make sure it stays airy. I would say try it on a plant and see how it does. I know a lot people plant...

    introducing mineral rock dust

This is my opinion but I have done some reading up on it and I believe it to be true. Plants that have a higher mineral content have a higher Brix level. Higher Brix levels = healthier plant, better taste, better disease and insect resistance, and weigh more than a low Brix fruit/veg of equal...

''Group buy'' for the ultimate compost tea maker ''Bioreactor''

I made a 20 Gal vortex brewer for about a 100$. 50$ for the brewer and 50$ for the pump and I love it. I wish I was at home I would take some pics but it works great. I got it connected to a hose so I can water straight from it.

    CAT/DOG food to the tea...?

The dry cat/dog food is used when you get it a little wet/damp and set it out for a 3-5 days to grow good fungus and then added to your brew. It can also be added to your compost pile to act like a compost starter. And no you dont add worms to your tea.....

Organic Super Soilmix only water for next grow!

Azomite is 65% silica and I prefer the powder, Humic will break up if its granular into powder anyways so its not so important, and I prefer powder with lime but some prefer granular but it doesnt break down much if granular.

Organic Super Soilmix only water for next grow!

Granular is usually slower release, powders usually will break down faster. I have not used potassium sulfate before but looking at its npk ratio I would say you would want that to release slowly so granular would be what I would try if I were to try it.

Organic Super Soilmix only water for next grow!

You can substitute the earthworm castings for good compost. You can also make your own earthworm castings/compost fairly easily. I think you are over thinking things too much. I have been using the same soil since 2009 here is the recipe I use when I re-amend and I have great results. Per 25-30...

raw humic acid or water soluble

I don't think it matters too much but in general I always prefer dry ferts/additives over liquid in soil because dry tends to be more concentrated and it tends to last longer therefor you get more bang for your buck.

Need to raise Humidity in my tent!!!!!!?????? Any suggestions!!!????

You could spray the walls of your tent, you could leave a water bucket in there, you could put a air stone in your water bucket, you could leave a little water on the floor. But honestly if they are getting enough water and they aren't showing any problems I wouldn't worry about it. It's much...

    Wanted Patient or Caregiver

I moved to Lansing, MI about a year ago from IL and I have to say I love the area. There are cheap houses, relatively low crime, lots of hot college girls and I have had zero trouble getting rid of overages.

It's not a bad deal but I have seen a lot of cheap digital ballast break fairly quickly so keep that in mind if you buy it and every once in awhile check to see if the ballasts are running hotter than normal and if so replace.
