    looking for grow box design

You could also build modular units. That way you start out small but can add on later as your operation requires. Heres some examples of modular units. These boxes are a total of 3' wide x 18 inches deep x 4' high.

    looking for grow box design

A perpetual grow means that you continuously have plants in different grow stages. For instance, in my case I have 3 plants flowering, & 3 plants in veg. Soon I'll take cuttings from the plants in veg which will be my next group of plants. The flowering plants will be harvested, I'll move the...

    looking for grow box design

What is the size of the space you have to work with? Do you want a perpetual grow? Will you be keeping a mom or starting from seeds or clones each time? Here's a link to my grow thread, I have a decent set up which you could scale down but we need to know more details about what you want out of...

    when mite this be ready

Hard to say for sure without knowing the strain but based on my experience it looks like you have atleast another 7-8 weeks.

First Grow: 400 watt HPS, Permafrost, White Widow, White Rhino, Blackjack

No, I've never heard of that until now. I did a quick search on the subject, most of the comments were speculation but the one person I found who actually tried it said it didn't work for him. I'm fairly confident that the preditor's will take care of the problem but if not I'm open to other...

help me dry some buds quick?

The more powerful the fan the faster it will dry but whether you use a cardboard box or rubbermaid tub it's still a fast approach to drying. Here's a link which has a video on their drying machine. http://www.homegrown-hydroponics.com/oddrma.html Here's another link from someone on RUI who...

help me dry some buds quick?

If you're in a hurry you could build a bud dryer. Just need the following: rubbermaid tub (with holes in the lid) $15 Duct booster $8 carbon sock (if you want it to be odorless) $40 and a screen to set the buds on. $ few bucks Close it up and turn that bad boy on. You should have smokable...

Hmmm...that's too bad. I was thinking that I could JUST spray the fan leaves but I see what you're saying. I'll just have to ride it out and see what happens.

First Grow: 400 watt HPS, Permafrost, White Widow, White Rhino, Blackjack

:fire: This morning I waged war on the remaining spider mites. A sprinkle here, a sprinkle there and now all of my plants are covered with a total of 1000 preditor mites. They were only $33 so I thought I'd give them a try. Since my plants are locked up from taking nutes out of the soil I...

    Adventures of a Grow Addict

Hey IGLAW! There seems to be a lot of differing opinions on growing methods and their yeild so it's really cool to see all of those techniques being used simultaniously (LST, Topping, and just letting it be). Have you ever tried Scrog? I came across this portable Scrog idea which I'm...

This is where legends come from.

Subscribed. Wow, never seen anything like that. You're an innovator to the marijuana industry! Question, and forgive me if I missed this from an earlier post but how far away are the plants from the bulbs? It looks like a couple of feet from the pic. IMO you might be better off...

Do you think it would stress the plants out more if I treat them for spider mites?

First Grow: 400 watt HPS, Permafrost, White Widow, White Rhino, Blackjack

DAY 35 OF FLOWERING:wall: TIP OF THE DAY: DO NOT USE MIRACLE GROW SOIL So it looks like IGLAW called it, I have PH problems which are causing all of the leaves on my flowering plants to brown and die off.:-( I blame Miracle grow for locking up my ladies and keeping them from the nutes they...

First Grow: 400 watt HPS, Permafrost, White Widow, White Rhino, Blackjack

I just topped my sprouts. According to the topping link IGLAW posted above I should expect 4 top colas. I can't say it wasn't hard, I felt bad cutting my girls in half but it will hopefully buy me a couple of extra weeks while I'm waiting to harvest the perpetual problem plants. Pic update...

400 w. New to the HPS game ??!!??

My 400 Watt light is air cooled and I am able to keep the tops within 8 inches of the bulb. I use the hand method, put your hand at the same level as the plant tops, if its uncomfortable for your hand then the light is too close.;-)
